Park Hyatt Saigon

I think this might be the best Hyatt in the world, and I am serious. The breakfast did it for me, anything on the menu and an international buffet that was amazing. But the room also screamed luxury, great mattress, tub and shower, tea and coffee, hundreds of channels on the tv. Just an awesome choice in the heart of Saigon. It is worth the price.

This was my third stay at the Park Hyatt Saigon, and it has become my hotel of choice whenever I visit the city. There is a reason I keep returning. The hotel feels ultra-luxurious from the moment you arrive, while still offering a calm and relaxing escape in the heart of Saigon. The location is perfect for exploring the city. What stands out most is the staff. Everyone is genuinely welcoming, hospitable, and caring. Their warmth makes the hotel feel personal, not just luxurious, and it is a big part of why I keep coming back. As a Globalist, I also appreciated the recognition. I received an upgrade to a garden room and was given late checkout, both of which made this stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was another highlight, and I looked forward to it each morning. After three visits, the Park Hyatt Saigon remains one of my favorite hotels. It is beautiful and refined, with wonderful service in an ideal location. I will happily return on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Saigon.

Overall, there are quite a few areas for improvement for a five-star property such as Park Hyatt. While the hotel has good bones and a strong foundation, the consistency of the basic service delivery and attention to detail did not always reflect the standards I would expect from a Park Hyatt, particularly when considering the expectations of discerning, high-end travellers.

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Saigon in a Deluxe Room with Square View, paying approximately £350 per night. I had been looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately it was the most disappointing hotel experience of our trip through Thailand and Vietnam. The hotel itself makes a wonderful first impression. The public areas are beautiful, the location is excellent and the staff we encountered were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, our room did not live up to either the hotel or the price. For a Deluxe room in a Park Hyatt, we found it surprisingly underwhelming and, most noticeably, there wasn’t even somewhere genuinely comfortable for two people to sit and relax. At this level of hotel, and at this price, I expected considerably more from the room. What disappointed us most, however, was discovering only as we were being shown to our room that the hotel’s leisure facilities were closed for refurbishment. We were told that we were welcome to use facilities at a neighbouring hotel, but that really isn’t the same experience. Had we known this before booking, it would undoubtedly have influenced our decision to stay. I raised my concerns with the duty manager, who offered a discount of $50 per night. I appreciated the gesture, but explained that my complaint wasn’t really about obtaining money back. We had chosen the Park Hyatt because we wanted to enjoy the Park Hyatt experience, including its facilities, and unfortunately that wasn’t what we received. Having subsequently stayed in some excellent hotels during the same trip, the contrast has made the experience even more disappointing. The Park Hyatt Saigon is undoubtedly a beautiful hotel, particularly its public areas, and I can understand why it has many admirers. However, based on our experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying checks whether all the advertised facilities are actually available during their dates and looks carefully at the particular room category they are booking.

A wonderful place to stay, made even more special by the warm and hospitable staff. The food was delicious, the room was spotless, and the daily housekeeping was excellent. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay truly comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable stay at this hotel!
