Park Hyatt Saigon

Very nicely done up for Xmas. Park Lounge high tea was fantastic. Check in was smooth. Nice and attentive staff made me felt welcomed and went out to meet my needs during my stay.

I was terribly underwhelmed from the experience with PH Saigon. Somehow, I was expecting a bit more. Overall, I have no complaints with the service and accommodation. Yet at the same time, I think I would have received a similar service from any other hotel. It is clear that the staff needs more help. It is so obvious that the staff at reception and restaurant are overwhelmed by demands from guests. I was told to wait for my room in the bar. But she has forgotten and I waited a bit to get my keys. When I checked out, there was also a relatively long wait. Breakfast was chaotic and extremely busy. The spread is wonderful with lots of varieties. However, many opted to order (especially eggs) from the menu which resulted in long wait. The staff were struggling to cope. PH Saigon was quite crowded. Beyond the guests, there were also visitors by the lobby which is already heavily decorated with 3 Christmas trees. The hotel needs to rethink their space. With its popularity, it seems untenable that they can continue to excel with high number of guests and greater demands for quality service within the confines of a small reception. It has opened for 20 years and may need to consider a period of renovation?

Independent decision-making should be a basic standard for a 5-star hotel. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help. Housekeeping comes twice a day, and the team is attentive and welcoming, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are a few points that should be noted. The room on the 3rd floor had an unimpressive view ,it faced a rooftop and some abandoned buildings. The sink water was constantly draining very slowly, and the issue never improved. Overall cleanliness was fine, though some dust was noticeable. The most disappointing part was the situation with the late check-out. Even though there were many available rooms, we were refused both complimentary and paid late check-out. This was surprising, especially considering we checked in around 7 PM and the room had been vacant since 7 PM. The explanation that “the organizers didn’t allow it” sounded unusual, as guests normally expect the hotel itself to make such decisions. Situations like this can affect the guest experience and the desire to return. I hope the management will take this into consideration, as these details truly shape the overall impression of the hotel.

Beautiful colonial hotel in the heart of Saigon. Room extremely comfortable, beautiful swimming pool and amazing breakfast selection both buffet and à la carte. We both had a massage and they were probably some of the best we have ever had. Would highly recommend

I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the spa , food , breakfast and the hotel was extremely comfortable . Staff is super nice and service is amazing! Concierge service is very personalized and super easy to navigate . Truly a 5 star experience !
