The Reverie Saigon

Hotel is visually appealing, if not a bit over-the-top Vegas-styling. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I wish they'd spend less time trying to appear luxury and focus on the details of the room - ours smelled musty unless the AC was on full and the shower valves were in need of maintenance. We hung our bath towels so they would not be laundered, instead they ended up refolded, and wet. The breakfast buffet was vast with choices although it took 15 minutes to get a cup of tea. Great location, walkable to all the sights.

Hotel is stunning. Lobby magnificent, rooms beautiful. Service impeccable. Breakfast buffet had offerings for every culture. Good was delicious. Most helpful and gracious was the Concierge LOC, who answered many many emails in the weeks prior to our trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

A spectacular luxury stay with one of the most extraordinary views in Ho Chi Minh City. We stayed at The Reverie Saigon, and it was a genuine pleasure from beginning to end. From the moment you walk in, the hotel feels dramatic, glamorous and unapologetically grand. The hotel sits in one of the best parts of Ho Chi Minh City, making it an excellent base for exploring. We booked the Panoramic River View Suite on the 29th floor, and the view across the river and city skyline was breathtaking — easily one of the finest vantage points in the city. The Reverie clearly understands luxury and delivers it beautifully. The arrival and check-in experience are seamless, and the enormous orchid displays throughout the hotel add to the sense of theatre. The décor can be a little over the top, but somehow it comes together in a quirky, playful and memorable way. Our suite was extremely comfortable and indulgent. There was an espresso machine, fruits, chocolates and a fully complimentary minibar, along with excellent turndown service. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of closet and storage space, and the staff were happy to provide additional luggage stools when needed. The concierge team was excellent, offering great recommendations, arranging reservations at some wonderful restaurants, and even booking our tickets to an opera performance. Breakfast was exceptional — one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The spread is enormous, with both Asian and Western options: sparkling wine, fresh tender coconut water, excellent coffees and teas, beautiful cold cuts and cheeses, freshly baked breads, and a wide selection of dishes. There’s also an extensive egg menu including eggs Benedict, Florentine and steak with eggs. Having stayed in many luxury hotels across Southeast Asia, The Reverie stands out for its sense of theatre, attention to detail and truly indulgent hospitality. Best for: travellers looking for grand luxury, spectacular views and impeccable service. We would happily stay here again.

My stay at the Saigon Hotel was truly memorable, especially thanks to the incredible service and attention to detail. One of the highlights each morning was the breakfast — the spread was fantastic, with an impressive variety of options ranging from fresh local Vietnamese dishes to international favorites. Everything was well prepared and constantly replenished, making it a great start to the day. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. The concierge, Loc, deserves special recognition. He went above and beyond with his recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. Thanks to him, we were able to attend the AO Show at the opera house — he arranged the tickets for us and even informed us about the welcome activities happening there before the performance. Loc was also incredibly helpful with tips about shopping, local customs, and places to explore in the city. Anytime we had a question, he was quick with thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our visit. Overall, the hospitality, flawless service, and personal touches made this stay exceptional. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City and would definitely return.
