Reviews for The Reverie Saigon

Reconfirmed their great quality

We returned to The Reverie this year again and they were able to reconfirm their high service quality and attention to detail. This has shown again at the breakfast (special thanks to Vy and Khoa) or in the small treats during their downturn service. This time we also went to the bar in the evening and surely enjoyed their Reverie style egg Benedict.

Exceptional hotel in prime position in bustling Saigon

I stayed solo for 3 nights at the Reverie at the end of a busy 2 week tour of Vietnam. It was an absolute sanctuary and the one of the best hotels I have experienced across the world. The hotel and rooms are beautifully fitted out, sensational breakfast, but it is the staff who truly stand out. Every staff member was warm, helpful and provided excellent service. The spa is beautiful and well priced - I enjoyed a very relaxing massage with Cuong . The hotel is located in a fabulous spot on walking street, and a short walk to the shopping centres, markets and Opera (I recommend seeing the 1 hour AO show). The hotel was fully booked yet never felt overly crowded. The downstairs street side restaurant Long is lovely for a relaxed glass of wine to watch the world pass by. The staff there are amazing. It was a blissful end to my holiday and I will definitely return to stay again one day. As a solo traveller I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend.

Exceptional stay in an Exceptional City

You’ll never know truly exceptional service until you’ve stayed here at the Reverie. The staff are not just personable but knowledgeable and attentive to detail. Loved the private check in experience, with a lovely tropical refresher drink and cooling towel. The buffet breakfast was off the charts. The bell captain crew were beyond phenomenal. If ever back in Saigon, this is where you’ll find me.

From Chaos to Calm: My Stay at The Reverie Saigon

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I found myself needing a hotel room in Saigon with less than an hour's notice after an unexpected change in travel plans. Exhausted, hungry, sweaty, and stressed, I arrived at The Reverie Saigon hoping for little more than a place to rest. What I found instead was exactly what I needed: comfort, kindness, and a sense of peace. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt my stress begin to melt away. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, but it was the warmth of the welcome that made the biggest impression. Like many hotels throughout Vietnam, The Reverie offered a welcome drink upon arrival. Normally, I politely take a sip and move on. This one was so refreshing that I could have happily finished an entire pitcher. It was a small gesture, but at that moment it felt like exactly what I needed. I had booked a standard king room, but thanks to my American Express Platinum benefits, I was upgraded to a Panoramic King. When I opened the door, I was genuinely overwhelmed. The room was stunning. After an incredibly difficult day, seeing that beautiful space, and knowing I could finally relax, brought tears to my eyes. The floor-to-ceiling views of Saigon were spectacular. I immediately FaceTimed my parents so they could see the city sparkling below at night. By the time I arrived, it was after 9 p.m., and I hadn't eaten all day. I ordered room service: pho ga and a cheese plate. The food arrived quickly, was presented beautifully, and served with professionalism and care. It wasn't just a meal. It was another reminder that I was being looked after during a very stressful moment. One of the highlights of my stay was something I never expected. I rarely take baths, but how could I resist soaking in a luxurious tub overlooking the Saigon River and the city lights? It was one of the most memorable and relaxing moments of my entire trip. That evening, I planned to close the curtains before bed, as I always do. Instead, I left them open. The view was simply too extraordinary to hide. Falling asleep with the city skyline stretched before me was an experience I won't soon forget. The next morning, I enjoyed a slow start before heading down to breakfast. The service was outstanding. Staff members were attentive, thoughtful, and proactive about dietary needs and food allergies. The breakfast offering was exceptional, with both an extensive buffet and a full à la carte menu. I ordered poached eggs without hollandaise sauce, cooked perfectly, along with an avocado smoothie. It was a wonderful way to begin the day. Thanks to a generous 4 p.m. late checkout, I was able to spend several more hours exploring the city before returning to the hotel for lunch. Once again, the service was impeccable. I enjoyed a vegetable sandwich, perfectly crisp French fries, a fresh side salad, and pineapple juice. Everything was excellent, and the staff anticipated every need without being intrusive. The final example of The Reverie's hospitality came just before I left. I had cut my finger earlier in the day and had run out of bandages. When I asked at reception if they happened to have one available, a staff member not only found several bandages but also asked about the injury, made sure I had cleaned it properly, and helped me apply one because of the awkward location of the cut. It was a small act of kindness, but one I deeply appreciated. I wish I had more time to explore everything The Reverie has to offer. Yet what stands out most about my stay is not the luxury, impressive as it is. It's how the hotel made me feel. During a difficult and unexpected disruption to my travel plans, The Reverie provided comfort, care, and calm exactly when I needed it most. I recommend The Reverie Saigon without hesitation. Should I find myself back in Saigon, there is no question where I will stay.

Excellent stay: superb room, breakfast and service. Only wish late check-out was possible. Would happily return.
