The Reverie Saigon

I cannot say enough positive comments about the hotel and the staff. The service was exceptional, the rooms are very clean and roomy, and the location is good. The concierge staff (Mr.Nguyen, Ms. Le, Mr. Tran) were more than helpful with returning a personal item to me that I had left in my room.

Great hotel and located near the river. The room was spacious and the food was great. There are a lot of places around to walk, see and shop. The team was very helpful and friendly. The bar had great cocktails. The pool and spa was relaxing. Definitely a place I would stay in again the next time I am in HCMC

A really opulent hotel with fabulous over-the-top decor. Our room was certainly one the best I have stayed in. Service and breakfast were 10 out of 10. Location also great. Would highly recommend the back of the scooter street food tour - great fun and great food!

Truly a 6 star hotel and service experience. It regards itself as "a destination in itself". That is no exaggeration. Italian interior design, furnishings, extensive mosaics bordering on art, all complemented by excellent Vietnamese craftsmanship. Every room and venue is a feast for the eyes, every detail considered. What a delight that this exceptional artistry is matched by the quality of the service. Every staff member is welcoming and proficient and conveys a sincerity in wanting us to feel welcome and served with a smile. Housekeeping is of an equally high standard, and requests are managed promptly. Quite literally above it all is the Reverie Lounge Club team, led and trained by Jason. Every greeting comes with a warm smile, every request is responded to with an "of course" or "absolutely". They are all attentive and engaging, with well trained table and attendance skills. We have had the pleasure of many Club stays and so have high expectations. The Reverie has been the best. To top it all, the food is presented exquisitely with deluxe ingredients such as truffle, caviar and foie gras.

We arrived very late, around 12:30 at night, after a long trip. Our stay was fully prepaid, with breakfast and minibar included. Even though, they asked for a credit card pre-aurhorization. We offered SEVEN different credit cards (4 mine and 3 from my husband) and they were all declined. We said it was weird, because we had just used 2 of them and most of them have very high limits. They said IT DID NOT MATTER and if we did not hand them immediately the money IN CASH, we would not be allowed to check in. Even though I had prepaid everything!!!!! I would loose the money and had to find another place at ONE IN THE MORNING!!!!!Seriously!!!!They were very very rude. After half an hour that we were waiting, without a place to seat or even a glass of water, they found out the OBVIOUS: the problem was in THEIR credit card machine. Their machine was not conectes to the internet well, so it was not working. They NEVER said even sorry and still treated me like a criminal, even after they found out that the problem was with their machine. I have NEVER been treated like that before, even in simple hotels. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, DO NOT STAY THERE. There are a lot of nice hotels inthe city!
