Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers

We had the opportunity this time to stay in the Grand Opera Tower at the Sheraton. It was renovated within the past year and is truly a work of art. The design and architecture were carefully thought through to make the room both beautiful and functional. With a stunning view of the Sài Gòn River and parts of the city, the room felt exceptional. It also featured a separate living room area apart from the bedroom. Both rooms were enjoyable, each equipped with a TV and individual cooling systems. The bed itself was very comfortable. Every detail was carefully designed—from the contrasting bathroom wall colors down to the glass cups, one tinted light brown and the other dark brown to match the décor. The bathroom included a spacious bathtub, a separate shower with a very nice rain-like head, and a toilet with a bidet. The design emphasized privacy and tranquility. Access to the Grand Opera Tower is via a separate elevator, and each floor has only a limited number of rooms, creating a relaxing atmosphere in contrast to the hustle and bustle of Sài Gòn. Guests of the Grand Opera Tower enjoy privileges at both the Sheraton Lounge and the Salon Lounge. Each offers drinks, snacks, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The Salon side provides privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, while the Sheraton Lounge is more lively. It was wonderful to have both options depending on how we wanted to spend our time. Refreshments were available throughout the day. Knowing the Grand Opera Tower had completed its renovations, we were eager to book a room for this year’s visit. Ms. Ngan Van assisted us via email with our booking preferences, and a few days before our arrival, Ms. Helen Hang Nguyễn kindly reached out with a warm message to check if we needed anything. We mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday during this stay. Upon arrival, we checked in on the 5th floor with Ms. Thao’s assistance. It was very relaxing to sit in the Salon Lounge after a long flight and enjoy an amazing welcome drink unique to Sheraton Sài Gòn, with flavors of citrus, lemongrass, and calamansi—a drink that truly captured the essence of the city. Entering our room, we were greeted with a beautiful slice of cake and a thoughtful handwritten birthday note, along with a vase of fresh roses. This marked the beginning of our wonderful stay. During afternoon tea, the staff were attentive and welcoming. In the evening, we enjoyed happy hour, which included a variety of main dishes and plenty of drink options (beer, wine, soda, and more). The same team from afternoon tea also served in the evening, including Mr. Hung, Ms. Lynn, Ms. Nga, Chef Nhi, Ms. Nhu, Ms. Vy, and Mr. Kiet. They took great care of our family while attending to every guest. Their professionalism and genuine smiles made the evening delightful. The food was excellent, with options such as rice noodle soup (Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang), rice noodles with egg rolls, pad thai, and more, with the menu changing nightly. In the mornings, a different team welcomed us: Mr. Huy, Ms. Linh, Ms. Lien, Ms. Dinh, and Chef Quang. They started our day with smiles and a delicious breakfast at the Sheraton Lounge. Options included phở (beef noodle soup), eggs, bacon, sausage, custom omelets, and pastries. Everything was made with care and high-quality ingredients. For example, the phở broth was clear and healthy, unlike the fatty versions often served elsewhere. Outside the lounges, we visited the heated pool, where Mr. Bao greeted us with his usual energy. To my surprise, he remembered me from a previous visit. He was helpful and attentive, making everything feel effortless. The pool and lounge chairs were kept spotless, making it a joy to relax there. Housekeeping was equally attentive, visiting both morning and afternoon to refresh the room. We met Ms. Trang and Mr. Thien, who were courteous and thoughtful. At checkout, Ms. Chau and Ms. Tho assisted us kindly and patiently while I reviewed the bill. Throughout our stay, we had many pleasant conversations with Mr. Hung, Ms. Lynn, Ms. Nga, and Ms. Thu Phung. Ms. Thu was especially gracious, making us feel like family. I believe she manages this wonderful team, setting the example for the care they show every guest. Despite her busy schedule, she took time to chat with us, never making us feel like a burden. Ms. Thu and her team are truly remarkable. They give this hotel the heart that many others have lost. Thank you very much, Ms. Thu, and your team, for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. Your hotel defines the best of Sài Gòn and the best of Vietnam. Pro tip: If you book a room at the Grand Opera Tower, you can check in and out on the 5th floor. A separate elevator to the right of the hotel entrance takes you there. It’s a much nicer and more relaxing experience while the Sheraton Lounge team assists you.

Stayed at Sheraton Saigon twice in last one year. Very good location and hospitality by the staff. Hotel staff is very accommodating. Breakfast buffet is very nice and lavish. Gym is also good, could be little bigger. Thanks to suite upgrade due to Marriott loyalty. Overall very good experience.

I always stay at this hotel during business trips to Vietnam. The concierge, front desk and Sheraton Club teams are all fantastic. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Ho Chi Minh City.
