Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers

We stayed for two nights at this property on arrival to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at the start of our Vietnam/Cambodia Viking river/land cruise. The hotel is at a great central location with easy short walk to the opera house and many other attractions. The hotel is extremely well appointed with great staff and services. The bed was very comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant food was wonderful.

Yesterday I checked in the gym and was invited by Phuc gym to join Tabata exercise gathering this Saturday morning. I took it and enjoyed this exercise hour - burn much more calories than I thought. Could not imagine how much sweat dropped even the rain was not stopping just above the canopy above my head. Good job fitness team and be sure that I will come back to join many other activities every weekend.

Where do we start? :) This trip was a graduation trip with my eldest daughter. We are so thankful we chose here. We did select club access that was well worth the small upcharge. We had a huge delicious breakfast buffet daily. There were many main options as well as custom eggs , fruit etc was mind blowing. It was the best breakfast selection that I’ve ever had at any 5 star hotel. Perfection! In the evening there was “Happy Hour”. It was a full huge buffet. It was our dinner. Incredible!! So many choices, more fresh fruit and lovely desserts. The staff is what made this trip so delightful. Nguyet(one of the sweetest humans ever) emailed us ahead of time and asked detailed questions to make our stay perfect. When we arrived, they had decorations, fresh flowers , balloons and macaroons in the room to celebrate my daughter’s Masters degree! What a sweet touch. The staff has been so helpful. We had documents that needed printed a few times and they saved the day. I will miss Lynh, Tho, Nga and My. These ladies (and the gents too) made everyday so special and treated us like we were family. They are smart, kind and went out of their way to help us this week. We were spoiled. I truly have had the best experience ever. The new rooms on the tower side are beautifully appointed. We had a stunning view of the river. The hotel is in a great location in district 1.

Excellent hotel in Saigon for family or business trip. I have been staying in this hotel since 2007. Every time come to this hotel, just like return to my home in HCMC.. The breakfast is good. The Club Lounge is great. Ms. Thư Phung, Ms. Thai Trieu and Mr. Hung Tran serve the guest professionally. The hotel room becomes better after renovations. It is value for money. Will be happy to stay in this hotel again when visiting HCMC next time.

We flew into Hanoi then went to Cambodia and Ankor Wat followed by several days on the Mekong River and then Saigon. The hotel here in Saigon is absolutely first rate.
