The location in District 1 is absolutely perfect — hands down the best base you could ask for in the city. Everything is within easy walking distance, and it puts you right in the heart of Saigon's action. Beer lovers, take note: there's a great taproom just 5 minutes from the hotel called 7 Bridges Brewery and Taproom. It'll quickly become your home away from home, and the pizza there is amazing too. Service stood out even before we arrived. The hotel staff reached out ahead of time to confirm our arrival details, offer hotel transfers, and ask if we needed anything else arranged. Since we had a late arrival, this was a perfect touch and made the whole check-in process seamless. We had actually requested a suite upgrade and were told it wasn't available — so imagine our surprise when we were given an amazing suite anyway. What a bonus! One detail I've genuinely never seen before at any hotel: the suite had Apple TV. Turndown service was excellent, and they left out fresh fruit and plenty of water every evening. The room itself was spotless, smelled great, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Wifi speed was perfect too, which made working remotely a breeze. One small nitpick: the towels could use a refresh, as ours had definitely seen better days. The club lounge itself was lovely, though we unfortunately missed evening happy hour. Our host, Huy Huynh, was great about it and brought over some soft drinks for us instead. We didn't end up eating breakfast in the lounge, so I can't comment on that spread specifically. Breakfast in the main restaurant was honestly incredible — you can make your own fresh juice, and don't skip the chicken pho, it's a must. Other hotels on our trip so far haven't come close to this standard. The one exception was the coffee, which was just okay, but that's a tough bar to clear in Vietnam given how many amazing coffee options are around every corner. We only stayed two nights but genuinely wished we'd booked longer. I've stayed at quite a few Marriott properties over the years, and the Sheraton Saigon easily sits at the top of that list.

We spent one night at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, staying in the newly opened Grand Opera Tower. The lobby felt spacious yet charming and welcoming. Our room included access to both the Sheraton Club and The Salon. The Sheraton Club offered a diverse selection of canapés, while The Salon provided a more exclusive and private atmosphere with premium offerings. The staff were professional and incredibly accommodating. Nga and Nghi, who were in charge of the executive lounge, were especially helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend staying at the Grand Opera Tower.

Great location, amazing lobby with Vietnamese themed art. The room in the renovated tower was simply awesome. The Club Lounge is one of the best I've seen at a Bonvoy hotel, poolside view. The gym is nice but a bit outdated equipment, jam-packed between 6am-8am so i went back later in the day. Fantastic service, friendly and professional...Highly recommend the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera!
