Sofitel Saigon Plaza

Our experience with Tim the Concierge was exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist us with a problem without hesitation.

A nice hotel with ok service and clean comfortable rooms. We had a suite which had nice views and was well appointed. The executive lounge was a bit disappointing, evening food (limited selection and just filler, sandwich, 2 kinds of cheese etc) in particular not up to executive lounge standards in Asian 5 star hotels, at least in my experience (plus $10 sparkling wine!). Breakfast is fantastic and room service food was good (as we're the staff for both). Only slight issue was maintenance on hot water system which meant two days and one evening with limited hot water, hopefully that is fixed now. Nothing bad about the stay, but nothing particularly memorable either.

One of the best, if not the best Sofitel hotel I have been fortunate enough to stay in during our travels around the world. The service is 2nd to none, always there but never obtrusive. Nothing was difficult, service with a smile always, and a level of professionalism that is very hard to match. The staff who opened the car door for us when we arrived, the check-in staff, the club lounge staff, the very friendly staff during breakfast in Mezz, the pool and gym, the excellent staff who make-up our room daily, everyone was on-point. True to the Sofitel brand. Magnifique!!

From the very first moment, Sofitel Saigon made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. The atmosphere is elegant and calm, with a refined sense of comfort that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay. A special part of our experience was the Club, where the team consistently stood out through warmth, professionalism and a natural sense of hospitality. Mr. Marcus, Ms. Tina, Ms. Zoe, Ms. Evelyn and Mr. Brian each brought their own kindness and attentive presence, creating an environment that felt personal and quietly uplifting. Their service was never intrusive, always well timed, and delivered with genuine friendliness that made returning to the Club feel like coming back to a familiar place. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the housekeeping team, whose work was quietly exceptional. Everything was consistently immaculate, handled with great care and reliability, and the attention to detail made a noticeable difference throughout our stay. This kind of behind the scenes excellence is easy to overlook, but it shapes the entire experience. Beyond the individual moments, what stood out just as much was the hotel itself. Sofitel Saigon carries an exceptionally refined atmosphere, even beyond what we are used to from other hotels in this category. In every detail and every interaction, you can feel the influence of a remarkable Hotel Manager and a leadership approach built on high standards, consistency and genuine care. It is this foundation that allows the warmth and professionalism of the staff to shine so naturally. And of course, our appreciation extends to all the other wonderful team members we encountered along the way. Even if we cannot list every name, your dedication and kindness did not go unnoticed. To the entire Sofitel Saigon team, thank you for a truly enjoyable experience. We look forward to returning.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was lovely. The rooms were very nice, although on the small side, the pool area could do with some sprucing up (more plants around maybe, and some better looking tables and chairs). The breakfast and dinner options is the highlight of this hotel, just amazing. The staff are also very friendly and obliging. Would recommend.
