Anantara Hoi An Resort is a sumptuous product of the eclectic cultural mix that makes up Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where merchants from around the world traded and left their imprint on the city. Rooms and suites are housed in two- and three-story French Colonial buildings, where a fusion of European and Asian design sensibilities create a contemporary environment accented by rich wood and splashes of color. Watch lantern-lit boats coast by at the riverside restaurant or board your own for an unforgettable dinner cruise.

We had such a great time at the Anantara in Hoi An. It’s a beautiful hotel right on the river, and the location is spot-on — you can easily walk to the Old Town, the night markets, and even catch the Memories Show without needing a taxi. It’s definitely not a budget option, but the service, the vibe, and the little extras totally made it feel worth it. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a really relaxed, stylish feel. Our room was huge and really comfy — maybe a little bit in need of a refresh, but honestly, it was still lovely. We were on the ground floor with a garden view, just steps from the pool, which was super handy for lazy afternoons. Breakfast here was next-level good. They had everything — hot Vietnamese and Western dishes, amazing muesli, tons of fresh fruit, a big range of nuts and seeds, plus soya milk and yoghurt (which isn’t always easy to find!). Honestly, it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had anywhere. The hotel also offers free bikes, which made getting around even easier, and there’s a gym if you feel like working off some of that breakfast. All in all, we loved it — gorgeous setting, amazing food, great service. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in Hoi An

Hotel is well positioned for walking and exploring the Old Quarter and riverside. The staff were amazing and very helpful with personal insights and recommendations on what to do and where to go. Food was ok. Used the swimming pool every afternoon which was lovely after trekking about.

Nice welcome upon arrival and the rooms were lovely. Bed was so comfortable and the shower room was excellent. Cleaning staff were so good. Nice pool and gym. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, so much choice and we loved the fresh fruit and so many varieties of nuts. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cycled to nearby beach with bikes from the hotel. Yoga activity available which was very good. Ideally situate not too far from the main Hoi An hustle and bustle. Loved it.
