Dated and Poor Value For Miney
Great location close to Old Town but very dated rooms. We booked a deluxe room with balcony. The room was on ground floor with limited natural light and the “balcony” is an open external seating area. The room was a good size but decor was dated and the bathroom was at best 3star. Overall expensive for what it offers.

Manager was clueless and had no idea how to handle medical case, we left the hotel without being attended.
Hotel have no experience staff to handle medical emergencies. If they want to maintain their brand they need to buckle up

Amazing Anantara
We stayed at this most beautiful hotel 26-29 December 25 as part of a 3 week Asian trip through Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. The staff were incredibly friendly, hardworking and nothing was too much trouble (even with rude, high maintenance customers) they remained professional and smiling. The food at breakfast was the best experience we had in 3 weeks, so much choice and the fresh food so beautifully cooked for you. The evening food choices were plentiful and again cooked to a high standard using beautiful ingredients. Our room was a huge space, very well maintained and cleaned daily by the most amazing housekeepers. So happy and friendly doing a job that is often dissed by people. It’s integral to the hospitality package that you want when you’re away. Reception staff again friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area and advice of where to go and what to see. The location of the hotel could not be any better. The old town literally a 5 minute walk where the hustle and bustle was in abundance. The huge indoor markets giving you the option to barter for your goods! The beautiful food either in some top notch restaurants or street food. This is our first visit to Vietnam and hopefully not our last. There is no doubt in our mind that the Anantara would be our hotel of choice on our return. Thank you to everyone for making our memories of Vietnam so wonderful ❤️

Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel with wonderful river views. The room was very well laid out and recently renovated. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
