The Garland

This was our first stay in LA and at the Garland. From the moment we entered, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room we were allocated was beautiful; very clean, light and airy. Immediately after arriving, we were asked if anything further was required in our room. The hotel bar was lovely, the food was fantastic, the swimming pool was lovely. We arranged lots of of trips courtesy of Jessica in the shop situated in the hotel. Jessica is an absolute diamond and is such an asset to the hotel. She helped myself and my husband plan our time effectively whilst in LA and provided us with lots of tips and insights. Nothing seemed too much trouble and she was unbelievably helpful. a huge thank you Jessica! To the Garland; thank you for making my birthday and our wedding anniversary special. We loved our stay with you!

We enjoyed this hotel albeit a couple of things soured the feeling. Firstly the hotel is lovely to look at. Nice vibe about the place. Majority of the staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. The restaurant is really nice and would recommend eating there. When you check in and you are due hotel credit ( we were due 150 dollars of credit but forgot) make sure you ask as we weren't given it. After a long time travelling we simply forgot, it would've been nice if they reminded us, especially after spending a lot of money at the hotel. The rooms are nice and cleaned every day. Our room had a problem with the balcony door and the shower. Someone fixed the balcony door within minutes of us telling them. Unfortunately the shower area was still leaking for the duration of the trip. The motorway noise from the room was quite loud but it didn't detract from the stay. The shuttle to Universal was really good and appreciated. Would I stay here again, it's just a maybe. On the whole it's decent but perhaps there are better hotels for the same money we paid.

The Garland is a cute boutique hotel. The bed was just right. They have great drinks in their bar and they have a free trolley to Universal Studio and City Walk. We will definitely be back.

Myself and my fiancée stayed at The Garland hotel on our recent trip to LA. The hotel is in a great location in North Hollywood away from the busy areas and close to Universal Studios. The hotel offered a perfect free shuttle bus which took you from the hotel to Universal Studios or the metro for access to Hollywood, we used this everyday and was a great free benefit of the hotel! The room in the hotel was perfect and had a lovely Los Angles vibe to it. The room was very spacious, clean and had all the facilities you needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff at the hotel were perfect and very helpful with any need we had during our stay. I managed to cause a small gash to my knee and the hotel were more than accommodating supplying me with bandages and antiseptic creams. Overall this hotel was perfect and would highly highly recommend it.

I love coming to this hotel its stunning , and martin the lobby bar server had been very attentive thought my stay here !
