W Hollywood

We checked in on June 12, 2026, and checked out on June 13, 2026, at W Hollywood. The hotel was amazing! Our room was wonderful, with a comfortable couch and a well-stocked minibar. The dining experience was excellent, and the music at the bar was very enjoyable. The pool was beautiful, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything was wonderful, and the location is convenient with many attractions nearby. We had a great mother-and-daughter getaway and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

W Hollywood is my new favourite hotel in LA. While service at W hotels can be hit or miss depending on the city, the staff at the Hollywood location are incredibly professional, helpful and seem genuinely very happy. Any request I had was fulfilled within 10 mins, which is a record for any American hotel. My suite was spotless, spacious and equipped with plenty of towels and robes. The bathroom had more than enough space for me to scatter my toiletries and hairdryer. One of my favourite thing about this hotel is the gym, which was equipped quite well, and I also enjoyed Cafe Goldie. While their avocado on toast was kind of miserable and tiny, their breakfast hash was amazing. I was initially concerned about the noise levels at this hotel based off of previous reviews, but I didn’t find it too bad, and I’m an incredibly light sleeper. However, I did ask for a room on the quietest side of the hotel. The rooms, unfortunately, are not noise proof and you will hear people having fun next door 😂 The location is ideal if you want easy access to Griffith observatory and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s not my favourite location given how busy it is in Hollywood proper, but I’ll definitely stay again given how much I liked this hotel.

Had a great stay for 1 night at the W Hotel - reception were lovely, super friendly and gave me a complimentary upgrade [which as always was a lovely surprise] The hotel was quiet; bed super comfy - I slept well. Breakfast the next morning was very delicious. Would stay here again

What an amazing stay from start to finish over Memorial Day weekend. Booked through Amex FHR which came with amazing bonuses on top of the standard bonuses i.e. free valet parking and an additional $100 property credit. First of all, the hotel's renovation from a couple years ago is magnificent and really makes it a standout property in Hollywood. Brianna at check-in was so nice and accommodating and did her best to get our room ready ASAP and was very patient answering every single question I had. Would have loved a larger upgrade to a suite or something but it is what it is. Room itself was very well renovated and spaciously appointed. Breakfast was phenomenal and I was able to stack my Platinum breakfast credit on top of the Amex credit. The hostess and servers were so amazingly nice. I grabbed some things to go from the cafe area and they were also extremely nice. Pool was pretty lively although I wish it was a little bigger. A lot of people not staying in the hotel had day passes so it was quite lively. Bartenders were nice up there as well. Ordered room service a couple times and the delivery folks were also extremely nice. Valet was super friendly and they were able to fully charge up my rental car every time I asked which saved me on gas money. Housekeeping was very friendly as well and would say "hello" or "good morning" every time they saw you. Basically everyone in this hotel was super super friendly. Check-out took quite a long time but one of the bellmen started handing out water to everyone as well. Jose did a fantastic job applying every single one of my credits accurately and I did not have any bill issues which can be quite rare for me. I will definitely come back here!

I’ve stayed at the W Hollywood twice now — once for a work trip and once with friends — and both times I was helped by a front desk team member named Micaela. I don’t usually write reviews for specific staff members, but she genuinely stood out enough that I felt like I had to. Micaela has this rare quality where she makes you feel like an actual person rather than just the next guest in line. She was warm, communicative, and genuinely kind — not in a scripted, going-through-the-motions way, but in a way that felt completely authentic. It’s the kind of hospitality that’s hard to teach, and it made both stays more memorable. The W Hollywood is already a great property, but people like Micaela are what turn a nice hotel stay into one you actually remember. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!
