Not worth the money

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Very disappointed with our overall experience. It was an extremely expensive two days spent at the Hard Rock and not worth it in our opinions. The good: The highlight was being upgraded to a suite in the oasis tower after they ran out of the room type we reserved. The gentleman at check in was lovely and the upgrade was a wonderful surprise after. Along day of travel. The room was beautiful and spacious. The shower was next level. The room had a great view over the pool and the guitar. We also had a great dining experience at Bao, the Korean BBQ restaurant. It was delicious and our serve was too notch. And finally, the show we saw at the live venue was a great experience. The bad: Sadly, those were the only two staff members who we felt were friendly and went out of their way to welcome us. Every other staff member had an attitude and wanted no part of answering questions without rolling their eyes. For the prices being charged at this “luxury” resort, I would expect better customer service. The gym was very dated and not worthy of the “resort fee”. The pools are very nice, but the service is not good. We were charged for two very expensive drinks that we did not order and had to wait 20 min for a manager to show up to refund us and didn’t even get an apology. It was like he did us a favor. The bartender charged us $85 for a vodka and white claw! Are you kidding me?! The Hard Rock Cafe was awful! And overpriced! Smoking is permitted everywhere and is just awful to have to breathe that in constantly! We would not stay here again considering the outrageous prices and poor customer service .

Very cool place

I didn’t stay here, but it’s a beautiful hotel and a cousin and I walked through the hotel earlier this month. I enjoyed seeing the rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia on display. They have a really nice food court and also the casino is also cool. If you’re traveling with your wife or a girlfriend, it would be the perfect place to stay.

Oasis hotel with huge rooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Biggest room ever. Comfortable bed, Bae Restaurant was a cool experience. Staff was friendly. Didn’t win anything but we enjoyed the shops and good as well. Loved the atmosphere and the view from our hotel room. They had a smoking and non smoking section.

Nice hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We stayed here three free comped nights in April. We are used to Hard Rock in Atlantic City so some aspects were definitely different. We I stay here again, yes, but only for free. I can't imagine what people actually pay to stay here. The grounds are large, we averaged 10k steps a day. Our room was in the guitar hotel. Make sure you ask for pool side. The other side has a view of a car auction and the highway. We made a mistake there, but that room was ready so we took it. The room is nice, large. Bathroom is nice and shower was very good pressure. They have complimentary coffee and water in the room. The guitar side is close to the nice pools which was good. Far from like other hotel rooms, pool, and food court so you just walk, a lot. We did have an overwhelming about of pot smell when we'd get off the elevator on our floor. Luckily it didn't smell in the room but clearly people are smoking more than cigarettes in their room. The food court, albeit has very slow service the few times we used it, does have good food. The wraps were very good and pizza. Everything is overpriced, you just accept it. If we drove here maybe we would have brought a lot more. We hade very good meals at Council Oak and Cipresso. Service was good. Hard Rock Cafe was ok, the menu had nothing that stood out. The pools on the guitar side were very nice. Basically this was the highlight of the trip. It's very resort like. BUT you MUST go early for a seat. At 9:30ish we were able to find the spot we liked, but even at that time it was getting crowded. By 10-11, almost everything was taken. Our second day we did see a woman taking towels off chairs that had nothing else with them and were unoccupied for probably 30 minutes. People still reserved far too many chairs and it's just annoying to watch this. The service at the pool was good. Again, everything is overpriced. We never went to the Hard Rock side pool because when we scoped out seats around 12, nothing was available. No big wins for us but you can't blame the casino there. There is a non smoking room. Honestly we felt like no one was going to win in there so we didn't stay. There are cocktail waitresses but they do walk fast so you really have to get them to stop for you. No free alcohol, something surely missed from our days at AC. Again if I drove here, I'd just bring my own alcohol. Just so much smoking too. There aren't smoking sections, the whole place allows smoking. At the pool too. People were smoking everywhere. They do a light show at the guitar each night at 9. I suppose maybe it's different each night as Tuesday night, something definitely wasn't right. It was minimal lights and some minimal music. We didn't even know if it started or was over. Wednesday's show was like 100% better. Music was great. Overall we had a good time and would come back if they sent us another offer.

Another Wonderful Stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My 5th stay was just as excellent as the previous four. Customer service was great from the check-in people to the Players Club to the ones on the floor….everybody was super friendly. This visit was the first time I really got to check out the pools - I’m so happy I did. My teenage son and I enjoyed our poolside time. This was the first time we stayed in the Guitar Tower. I can now say, while all three towers are nice, the Oasis Tower, where we’ve stayed three times is my favorite. Even though I lost all the money I put aside for gambling, I still had a really good time. I will be back!
