The single worst gaming experience and hotel stay imaginable. I called before arrival to confirm access to cash - the agent assured me unequivocally I could use a personal check with no charge, and I asked 3x to make sure I didn't have to stop at the bank. I arrive, only to be told by the cage that not only can you NOT buy in with a check, but the e-check they signed me up for has a limit below one single tournament buy-in, and they snuck in a $150 fee for the privilege. They then told me I could wire funds, so I did - and then spent three hours being told it hadn’t arrived. Only after showing enough staff members (somehow 10 workers behind the cage yet 0 helping customers on line, and all moving at a glacial pace) proof that it had gone through and calling my bank did it “suddenly” appear. I missed the first four levels of the tournament. I tried to extend my stay a second night: the late-night 3rd party concierge service said it would transfer me then hung up, the second agent said it was “impossible” to keep me in the same room after placing on hold for 10 minutes. I walked to the front desk and they did it in seconds - the only bright spot were the two front desk people I dealt with - one a nice man from Haiti and the other a helpful girl whose name escapes me. That night, the hotel TV menu turned itself on at 3 AM blaring, and housekeeping woke me up twice to tell me I needed to check out—when I didn’t. This is all at their "Icon" tier - whatever that means. I am the easiest person to please, and not one aspect was remotely what one pays for. This room alone was $400-$900/night to bilk the tournament players. It cost me so much more than that in terrible sleep and the toll it takes on poker play. Many other players shared horror stories; the consensus is that it's a monopoly in the area, so with the regulatory capture the property has, they can exploit visitors as much as they please. You could not pay me to come back here.

Hello, I like to visit America when I can and my most recent trip was to Florida. A highlight of that trip was to see Shania Twain in concert. The show took place at the Seminole Hard rock hotel and casino. Arriving at the venue it didn't disappoint. A part of the hotel is like a huge guitar and is stunning. During the show on both of Shania's nights the guitar was lit up with video images and effects. I found the venue well kept and clean. Traveling from the U.K. I had been worried about my show ticket not appearing on my phone. I did have a problem with it but the hotel staff were helpful. After being directed to the box office the lady there took some details and printed my ticket off. I found all the staff polite and ready to help. Having arrived in Florida from New Jersey I was carrying my sports bag with me. When making my way to my seat for Shania's show security stopped me saying my bag would have to be left with hotel staff at the front desk. Again, staff were helpful just tagging my bag and I collected it after the show.

My room wasn’t ready at the normal check in time, and wasn’t ready within an hour or so thereafter. I needed to clean up and change for the evening so I asked if they could give me a pass to the gym/spa locker room so I could freshen up. The check-in person looked at me like I’d grown a second head—might have even laughed at me a bit. I feel like this is a normal accommodation in these circumstances at similar hotels, so why was it perceived as such an unusual request? Perhaps I caught somebody inexperienced and I should have persisted a bit until I got somebody more seasoned, but karens everywhere have made asking for the manager anathema. Curious if anybody else thinks this was a normal ‘ask’ from me?

Valet parking is worthless. We been waiting for an hour to get our car back! There's a lot of people complaining here and the customer service is horrible. Do yourself a favor and save your $40.00 After you pay the waiting is horrible.
