Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Every engagement with the various teams from the front door men, to reception, housekeeping, restaurant and the fitness center were exceptional. Very attentive, efficient, caring and kind. When you meet a staff member not matter what department they are from in the elevator, they exude gratefulness that we choose The Shangri -la hotel as our home in Hong Kong. We travel often, Island Shangri-la is our favorite hotel in the world. It is extraordinary and rare to stay in a hotel where their mission to be excellent at everything you do. Looking forward to our next stay.

The best place for family vacation with outdoor swimming pool, awesome room view, delicious breakfasts, very cosy Summer gourmet place for tea/coffee and restaurants for dinner. Special thanks for staff for feeling great everywhere in the hotel!

One of the best family themed rooms I’ve ever been to. I was amazed by the room’s cleanliness, facilities available, the staff’s understanding and friendliness. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s travelling with kids and who wants to stay in the heart of the city.

We had to change from another hotel that was undergoing renovation so coming to Island Shangri-La staying at the newly renovated premium room on the 50th floor was a bliss. The excellent service at checking In despite some rude guest jumping the queue made you feel welcome. We enjoyed the high quality breakfast with its many choices as well as just being in the room mixing work and leisure. We will certainly come back.

Rude, rude, very rude, especially from many staff at the managerial level. There is a mouldy smell in the room, and 5* hotel service is non-existent in this 'hotel'.
