I had an unexpectedly difficult start to my stay in Hong Kong after suffering an accident on my first day that involved doctors, an emergency visit and stitches. It was in that situation that the professionalism and genuine care of the team at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental really stood out. The staff went far beyond what I would normally expect from a hotel. They helped me find doctors, assisted me with cash when I needed it, and even kept sending ice to my room throughout the day to help with the swelling. These may sound like small things individually, but when you are injured and away from home, that level of attention makes an enormous difference. A very special thank you to Terry and Louise, who were incredibly kind and attentive and even shared their cards with me, as well as to the entire fantastic front desk team. Mandarin Oriental should be very proud of them and do everything possible to retain this kind of talent. They are exactly what makes a great hotel feel truly exceptional. On a side note, the hotel itself is beautiful, extremely comfortable and very well located. And the bar on the 7th floor serves some excellent Champagne. Thank you again to everyone who looked after me.

Following its recent transformation, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental continues to set the benchmark for luxury in Hong Kong. The moment I stepped into the newly elevated lobby, I was struck by its residential warmth—it feels like a sophisticated private study or modern living room infused with subtle, elegant Oriental aesthetics. From the start, the service was exceptional. Mr. Besjon Vokshi and Mr. Terry Chou warmly welcomed me and escorted me to Blanc de Noir, sharing insightful highlights of the property’s latest redesign along the way. The aperitivo experience at Blanc de Noir was flawless. The space itself is chic and intentionally designed, paired with an outstanding wine list and remarkably attentive service from Alfonso and Raymond at our table. It is easily one of the premier spots to see and be seen in the city right now.

Amber The staff (especially Derrick, Seyani and Agnes) is so professional and made us feel so comfortable. The food is delicious. Kitchen tour is impressive.
