Lanson Place Hotel Hong Kong

Stayed for 3 nights end September. Unbeatable location - it's in the heart of causeway bay and Times Square and other malls are just a few minutes' walk away. There are also many eateries a stone's throw away. There is no driveway/pick up point, and it's better for your taxi or Uber to drop you off along Keswick Road as Leighton Road is super busy - traffic around this area is not great. The room was clean and had all necessities. However, I really disliked the fact that given the configuration of the bathroom, the bathroom door was always in the way (it blocks the sink when the door is open) and two people can't be in the bathroom at the same time. The bathroom was tiny. We only had breakfast once and the wanton noodle (made to order) was good as many reviewers have mentioned. We arrived close to 10am and the buffet area was closed right on time, so we didn't get to see much of the spread. The dining area was lovely. Staff were helpful and responsive - notified them that I was expecting a parcel prior to my stay, and they delivered it to my room after I've checked in.

Highly recommended - truly an oasis within the city. Very much enjoyed the bright, clean, well-designed, luxurious and modern interiors. Excellent soundproofing - no noise from the busy street below penetrated our bedroom. Delicious breakfast (semi-buffet is a bit of a misnomer in my opinion, since the extent of the hot and cold spread could stand on its own alongside what other hotels term a buffet, even though they might have a made-to-order menu as well). Outstandingly courteous service, which exceeded our expectations (recognized a special occasion which we had not informed them about, and did not even solicit a review!).

We stayed at the Lanson Place HK following a recommendation from a family friend living in Hong Kong. We stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel is very conveniently placed within the heart of Causeway Bay, which is excellent for accessing downtown Hong Kong. The room we had was very spacious (also aesthetically pleasing) and the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. A very special thanks to Kevin, Narie and Kenny for being so kind and accommodating. We had a few issues during our stay, which the management were very quick to resolve and rectify. This is why this hotel deserves 5 stars; it's the prompt and thoughtful way in which our issues were corrected. Many reviewers will always say what went well and what did not and base their rating on this. And for this reason we would like to applaud and send our genuine gratitude and thanks to Michael Chia (Hotel Manager). In our situation, we were very impressed with the hotel, staff and management and we will definitely come and stay here the next time we are in Hong Kong!

this is my second time at this property, the first of which was memorable with a big family group. my second return was created with a smile and for some reason, I was greeted by name which I felt was a really good touch. definitely felt welcome. stayed a total 4 nights first night was great, woke up refreshed to hit the city as I returned 2pm my room was not yet cleaned and went to front desk to request a clean up while we wait at the comfortable lobby. an hour goes and we head up and our room still isn't cleaned. we had to ask the front desk again. a bit of a hassle at this point. but another hour or so and our room was ready. second night, went well with no hiccups third night-- typhoon level 8, suddenly phones not working and the buttons on my room were not working. couldn't put down the blinds and couldn't call down either. the morning we requested for someone to check. unfortunately, we had to change room and were given a slightly bigger room. kudos. fourth day-- went out and requested the front desk to have the room cleaned as we left the hotel and was acknowledged. unfortunately, again coming home to an uncleaned room with all our room service still there. a bit unfortunate. for some odd reason phone in the room wasn't working again so we had to go down to request room clean up. Again. only for staff to come an hour later. so, overall great stay and great property but not with any hiccups. will come back to this property and hoping for a smoother stay.
