Pullman Park Lane Hotel

We celebrated a birthday here and had a wonderful experience. The Executive Lounge staff were extremely professional and polite. Additionally, the team members who delivered items to our room were also very courteous and welcoming.

I have stayed at a few Marriott Brand hotels in Hong Kong and I must say this is among the top three. Even as a Titanium Elite member, I was quite impressed with their personal service. I happened to check in on my birthday and was surprised to receive birthay day cards from the loyalty team as well as General Manager. More surprise to come and a birthday cake was delivered to our room. This is the second time we stay at this hotel this year and will stay again in October. The location of this hotel is excellent. Many hotels and eating places are within walking distance. This is our preferred hotel in Hong Kong if we plan to stay for more than 2 days. The hotel is around 50 years old but many rooms are now upgraded. Our minor complaint is with the buffet restaurant. Many hotels allow guests to leave a card or sign on the table during dining and return or flip over when they leave. I may be wrong, but this is the only Marriott brand hotels that do not use this system. I have seen many cases that the table was cleared when the guests went to collect their food. That also occurred to us earlier this year. The waitress already threw away all our uneaten meals when we returned to the table. This waste of food in totally unnecessary and shameful. Even worse is when we witness during our stay this time. The young time sitting next to us went to get more food. The table was cleared and another lady was directed to sit at his table when he returned. This can create a lot of bad feeling and is totally managable with a notification system. The noodle station is another one without a numbering system. This placed a lot of stress on the chef when some guests complained to him that their order was taken by someone by mistake. I wonder when will management do something about this?

Full disclosure, i'm Bonvoy Platinum, so I was given an upgrade and accessed the executive lounge. i choose this hotel because of the location and the lounge. The food is good, but the service in the lounge was excellent. I've been a few lounges around Asia, and as a Hong Konger, I love the attention to detail and the care they give.

Pleasant stay and good service. Location is great and never doubted it. All went well. Room was very clean and service was also quick. Any request I had was met. Thank you also to Kitty for helping me with my booking and giving great service :).
