Reviews for Regent Hong Kong

Travel with ease and comfort

We stayed in fall of 2023 and revisit at least annually for work and leisure, most recently March 2026 with 2 visits. Staff are professional and gracious. It's a gorgeous property, bustling and lively in all the right areas, tranquil and serene in others. Balance! We love the room layout, well appointed amenities and quiet hallways. Get the Club Floor access to spoil yourselves with a quieter, intimate experience and terrific food and drinks. Try the Qura Bar in the evening for a whiskey and a cigar.

Regent reigns

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Whilst travelling around on our adventures every hotel that we stayed in gives us a surprise in a different way and the Regent Hong Kong certainly delivers on that. From the door person to the reception staff, breakfast staff and pool staff just to name a few they are all so friendly and welcoming it is a delight to be treated in that way. Now to the hotel, check in/out was quick and easy and our room 1117 had everything that we needed for our stay and after a day exploring this wonderful area to come back and have a drink, slippers, eye masks laid out, it is just exceptional service. Everything in the rooms are of the highest quality, the bed was so comfortable we slept like babies and housekeeping did a wonderful job. This is an absolutely wonderful hotel ideally located for exploring the area but if you just want to relax the pool area is a haven. Thank you to all the staff for making our time here so memorable.

A birthday stay that became a family memory

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We came to the Regent Hong Kong for a reason that felt bigger than a hotel stay. Our infant was turning one, and we were passing through Hong Kong on the way back to New York. We wanted to mark the occasion somewhere that would actually rise to it. The Regent did - and then exceeded it. The experience started before we even arrived. I reached out to the Experience Team a week in advance with some context about the trip and a few requests. The response was prompt, warm, and specific. Every detail I mentioned was noted, actioned, and confirmed without needing to be repeated. By check-in, everything was exactly where it should have been, including a celebratory amenity and personal touches that had clearly been thought through rather than just ticked off a checklist. For a family travelling with a very young child on what felt like a meaningful occasion, this kind of anticipatory service made a real difference. The rooms are exceptional. The harbour view is the centrepiece and it earns every superlative thrown at it. Waking up to the Hong Kong skyline, watching the light change over Victoria Harbour through floor-to-ceiling glass, seeing the Symphony of Lights from the room. Designer Chi Wing Lo has created spaces that feel serene without being sterile, and luxurious without the performative excess that can make five-star rooms feel exhausting. The "personal haven" concept is genuine, not marketing language. Service throughout the stay operated at the same level as that pre-arrival correspondence. Staff knew the context of our visit without being prompted at every turn. Requests were handled quietly and efficiently. The follow-up after checkout - a short note from the team acknowledging the stay - felt like a continuation of a relationship rather than a hotel formality. Practical notes for families: the hotel is directly connected to K11 Musea, which is ideal for a toddler on a rainy afternoon. The promenade to the Avenue of Stars is literally steps away. Luggage handling for a large group arriving on a stopover was seamless. For context on my perspective: I had been to Hong Kong once before, over a decade ago, as a young solo traveller. Returning with a family, carrying considerably more luggage and considerably more to celebrate, I was struck by how different and how much better it felt. That is partly Hong Kong itself, but it is significantly the Regent. If you are considering this hotel for a milestone occasion, a family trip, or simply because you want to stay somewhere that takes hospitality seriously - book it. The reputation is earned. One final detail that stays with you long after checkout - the hotel's signature scent, a clean, subtle fragrance that drifts through the corridors and lobby, is the kind of sensory detail that quietly anchors a place in memory. It is the smell of the Regent, and you notice its absence the moment you leave.

In the middle of a crowded and busy TST the Regent offer s true haven of tranquility, luxury and hapiness. The room was spacious and the view incredible at any time of the day , the bed and amenities show what's luxury should be. The staff were so nice , polite , helpful and genuine , you know and you feel it was not forced . I really think the Regent is one of the best hotel in Hong kong from far , the pool and outdoor garden is just simply the perfect escape you need. Everything was simply perfect , top notch !!

Excellent stay with perfect location and kind service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I had a really lovely stay at Regent Hong Kong and would absolutely give it five stars. The hotel is in such a good spot — super central and easy to get to everywhere I wanted to go in Hong Kong. The harbour view from my room was really pleasant to look at, calm and nice both during the day and evening. What made the trip even better was the service. Everyone I met was friendly and smiled the whole time. Staff helped with my luggage right away, opened the door for me, and Ms.Sandy even showed me to the room and explained all the little things clearly. I spoke Mandarin the whole time and never felt any disrespect or cold attitude; everyone was polite and welcoming. The room was comfortable and tidy, and the whole atmosphere felt relaxing. Overall it was a great experience, and I’d definitely choose to stay here again.
