The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is situated in Central; the territory's most prestigious business and retail address. Rooms boast of stunning views; either of the famous Victoria Harbor; or historic Statue Square and the verdant Peak just beyond the skyline.

The best part was the 5* service provided by Bobo, she has a wonderful personality to make the guests feel welcome.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong during a recent trip to visit family, and since I used to live in Hong Kong, we ended up spending more time enjoying the hotel itself than exploring the city. It turned out to be the perfect choice. Getting there is straightforward via the Airport Express, though I’ll admit the journey from Kowloon Station up to the hotel on the 100+ floors can feel a bit long after a flight. Still, once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The rooms are definitely on the pricier side, but the views are simply unmatched. Being in the tallest building in Hong Kong means completely unobstructed, panoramic views that are hard to beat anywhere in the world. The interiors are starting to show a tiny bit of age, but they’re still in great condition and likely have several more years before needing a full refresh. The lobby itself is already incredibly high up, which makes the experience feel special right from check-in. We visited during Christmas, and the adorable walk-in gingerbread house display was a really nice touch. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is the Club Lounge. In my experience, it’s one of the best hotel club experiences anywhere. There’s almost always proper food available throughout the day, with only short breaks for reset between services. Beer and wine are self-serve, and cocktails are available on request. The club-level town car is also a very convenient perk. We’ve stayed here multiple times, and what truly stands out is the service. A special mention to Corinne Chu in the Club Lounge, who has consistently made our stays extra special. She remembered us after an entire year and always goes out of her way to take care of our toddler—making sure there are toys and clean cutlery ready. That level of personal attention is rare. Hong Kong is sometimes known for fast-paced, no-frills service, but here it’s the complete opposite—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Wanting to taste great dim sum in Hong Kong found Tin Lung Heen. Steve and Francis who served us were so professional, well mannered and knowledgeable. We had a great meal - executive lunch set, and a few other dim sum. Well worth a visit. The view from level 102 is great. Only downside (I raised) was if you arrive early, youre put into a waiting room.. no offer of water and despite the room being comfortable, it’s a back of house area… better off arriving within the 15min Cutoff period.

Being one of my favorite places to be (especially after canceling my reservations twice last year due to untimely colds/flu?) I found myself really blessed to be here again during my birthday month even though I did not say anything during the reservation. The early arrival got me an extra lunch at the Club Lounge and Charles has given me a sneak preview of my blessings for the next two days at the check in. Thanks to the Executive Chef Francesco who responded my email request for Peking Duck and Hot&Sour Soup (but not too hot!) prior to my arrival, my wish was granted abundantly during the whole stay. Peking Duck has been a staple already, but the Hot&Sour Soup is simply amazing! I am sure they have the right kind of pepper to bring out the authentic flavor of the soup. My mouth still becomes watery just by thinking of it! Thanks also to Chef Dicky, Chef Kalmus and the lovely lady Chef (who prepared the Peking Duck on Sunday evening) for the wonderful food. Love the balloons in my room and the chocolate beans as well as the rich chocolate cake were heavenly! The only regret this time was not able to enjoy the swimming pool due to the untimely burn on my knuckle which happened just a couple of days ago at a hotel in Taipei. Yet a wonderful message session with April made it up. The check out with Brigette was smooth and efficient. Thus round up another memorable stay at RitzCarlton Hong Kong.
