The Upper House

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at The Upper House. From the moment I arrived, it was clear why this hotel has such a devoted following. The design is sleek, elegant, and calming, and the rooms are beautifully appointed—spacious, sophisticated, and incredibly comfortable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel feels peaceful and refined, making it a true sanctuary in the heart of Hong Kong. What made my stay especially memorable was the service. Every single team member I encountered—from the valet and front desk to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, and gym attendants—was genuinely warm, gracious, and welcoming. The level of hospitality was outstanding and felt sincere at every interaction. The thoughtful touches and amenities throughout the hotel further elevated the experience and made my stay feel both luxurious and deeply personal. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and hoping to visit again soon!

I have stayed at The Upper House a couple of times several years ago and wanted to come back as part of my honeymoon trip with my husband. It is my favorite hotel ever and it was such a special experience. From the top notch service, the beautiful rooms (and amazing bathroom!), food, etc. —- UH cannot be beat. I will never stay anywhere else while visiting Hong Kong. Cheers from Los Angeles!

My stay at Upper House was wonderful. The environment is stunningly beautiful and serene, offering a perfect peaceful escape. What impressed me most was the staff — they are incredibly thoughtful and attentive. They assist to delivery the flowers to our room, which I had pre-ordered. Their caring service made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

What an amazing stay! We originally only booked for one night, but right after we settled down after checking in, we decided to extend the stay because everything is just wonderful. The room is stylish, spacious and well maintained, the location is just unbeatable, and on top of everything, the hospitality is what wins us over the most! Every single engagement was warm and hospitable, especially big thanks to Edward, K, Natalie, Leo, Sharon Lee, Gigi, Harriet, Angel, Maisie, Michelle, Safina, and every single one from the team that make this Mother’s Day trip memorable. Will definitely recommend to must try to stay at Upper House once in your life.

Every year, for the last 13 years, my wife and I have traveled for business a very large part of the time. Durig that time, whenever our travels take us to HK, our favorite and only place to stay is always the Upper House. Since our first visit (it has now been over 25!), the accommodations, the location, the views, the breakfasts, have all been superb! But more importntly, the entire staff makes everyone feel very special and welcomed from day one. All requests are always diligently addressed, and even anticipated, with a warm smile. The entire team (guest services, food and beverage, drivers and housekeeping) is the secret ingredient that tuns this House into a HOME!
