The Upper House

Our group of friends are travelling a lot, we love very nice hotel, good service and warm atmosphere.I can tell you that we found more than that at Upper House Hong Kong! Sharon at the reception was a very extraordinary lady who takes care of us on a professional way! The hotel/rooms are more than WOW…..one of the best Hotel that we came around the world. The restaurant is excellent with a great view. No hesitation to book another time at this extraordinaire boutique hotel!

Stayed here for four nights on business. Very luxe room, crisp sheets, nice toiletries. An amazing huge tub in the cavernous bathroom! Really spacious specially for HK. Attentive and close service all round. The breakfast is fully served and was a calm and zen start to each work day vs the more harried buffet style ones. Unbeatable location at Pacific place and also a short walk to the center of Wanchai and the hipster Sun and Moon street. Highly recommend!

After many visits to Upper House in Hong Kong, it has truly become my sanctuary in the city. Each stay feels like a welcomed escape — a place where you can still feel the energy of Hong Kong, but experience it through a more tranquil and refined approach. I said a similar statement in a previous review almost 8 years ago and they staff has not missed a beat. What stands out most is the service, of course. It’s wonderfully intuitive — elevated when you need it, yet effortlessly unobtrusive when you prefer to move through the hotel at your own pace. The Guest Experience team’s attention to detail consistently makes every stay feel more personal and comfortable. On my most recent visit, the outstanding Guest Experience Team (Sharon & Sharon) went above and beyond by arranging a room for a quick shower after an afternoon of golf and before my late evening flight — a gesture that perfectly reflects their commitment to guest care. As someone who travels to Hong Kong multiple times a year, I genuinely look forward to every return. From the peaceful breakfasts at Salisterra on the 49th floor with the sweeping views of the city to my go-to Family Form salads after a workout or run, Upper House consistently excels. Looking forward to my next visit!

This must be the best hotel I have ever stayed. For the last 35 years of travelling through business, The Upper House outshines all the other hotels. Its location is right in the heart of the Commercial and shopping districts on Hong Kong Island. What was most exceptional was the attention to detail, which was second to none. The staff were more than friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and well presented. Had every amenity you could want. I enjoyed an uninterrupted sleep each night. Overall, an exceptional hotel.
