The Upper House

The Upper House in Hong Kong is an exceptional hotel. The service is impeccable. Edward, in particular, made our New Year's stay extra special. Let the hotel arrange your transportation to and from the airport. You won't be disappointed. Our suite had views of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon on one side and the lush green hills rising above Admiralty on the other. The atmosphere is serene and the design by André Fu couldn't be better. After long days of sightseeing, we opted to stay in and have dinner at the hotel on a number of evenings.

We stayed on New Year’s Eve, to celebrate my birthday. The whole experience was exceptional from the moment we arrived to checking out. A stunning property with world class hospitality at its core. A special mention to both Edward and Nick, who went above and beyond in looking after my wife and I! Happy New Year!

Staying at the Upper House was truly memorable. Every touch point feels very personal and well thought of. In-suite check-in was seamless, you feel right at home, a very luxurious home, the moment you step into your exceptionally designed suite. Being Andre Fu's first pivotal property, The Upper House Hong Kong really stands the test of time -- the design is timeless and the elegance is subtle. The perfectly lit hallways feel serene and peaceful. The suite itself is spacious with incredible view of Hong Kong harbour, cityscape and greeneries all around. The bathroom has got to be one of the most iconic amenities at the Upper House - magnificent tub that will turn a non-bath person into one. Can't say enough about how incredible the service and hospitality from the team throughout the stay. They really spend the time and effort to get to know you even prior to your arrival to ensure everything you need is provided.

Thank you to the Upper House for a restful and wonderful stay over the pre-Christmas holidays! The room was beautifully designed, with the most thoughtful layout and details... the staff had also added personal touches like a welcome fruit plate and handwritten note card. We were surprised as well with a complimentary upgrade to their highest floor, which was a pleasant surprise and made us feel warmly welcomed on our very first day there. Located in between the busy Central and bustling Causeway Bay districts, it was the perfect urban base camp for our metropolitan getaway filled with city walks and shopping. In the evenings and nights, our room contrasted perfectly by giving us a private and serene space high above its surroundings... we loved every moment of being there, and look forward to making this a regular tradition.

Staying atbthe Upper House has been a delight. The room and the overall hotel feeling was of minimalistic yet impeccable elegance. All details were thought and perfectly refined. The views over the city and Harbour are fantastic and the room was full of light. Service was never invasive yet attentive and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was memorable. We were there for 8 nights and tried all set menues and many a la carte combinations with complete satisfaction. Also there, perfectly groomed and friendly service. Definitely one of the top hotel experiences in our life of very frequent travelers. The location is very central, closebto metro and ferry stations.
