The Upper House

My stay at this luxurious 5-star hotel was truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, with Gigi providing warm and attentive service, and Edward’s professionalism and friendliness making every moment special. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and outstanding hospitality.

We were offered a wonderful welcome for our stay at The Upper House. We had booked a 24 hour stay which included dinner in our room, breakfast, popcorn, movies and cocktails. The suite was luxurious with amazing views of the Harbour, the bathroom is spectacular. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Covid restrictions managed perfectly. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

The Upper House Hong Kong is truly service at its finest. From the moment we booked until the thoughtful follow-up after we left, Edward and his team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The rooms are stunning - spacious, beautifully designed, comfortable, light-filled and complemented by lovely views. The location is ideal with everything conveniently close by, yet the hotel itself feels calm and removed from the energy of the city. A special mention must go to Jacky and his wonderful team at breakfast and in the bar. They were attentive, efficient, and warm, consistently going above and beyond expectations. Breakfast was superb with an excellent selection and beautiful views. Evenings in the bar were equally enjoyable with excellent cocktails and exceptional food and service. A stunning hotel made truly memorable by its people. We look forward to returning.

Seventeen years later, some details and designs of The Upper House remain exquisite and elegant; perhaps this is what true luxury is—unrestricted by time. I love the bathtub's sleek lines; it's hard to describe. The open shower feels like stepping back into nature. The sofa and bench at the foot of the bed are made of skin-friendly fabric, very comfortable. The restaurant on the 49th floor served French cuisine, Spanish freedom, and the fresh flavors of Yunnan mushrooms—tastes that will make you want to come back forever. Hence the welcome message upon entering.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-week stay at Upper House. The hotel has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere, which is beautifully reflected in the room design. We especially loved the beautiful view from the bathtub, as well as the generous space in the bathroom and dressing room, which felt almost as spacious as the bedroom and sofa area. Throughout our stay, we were always greeted with warm, welcoming smiles. The housekeeping service was also excellent and very responsive to our requests. I really can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel. It was a wonderful experience, and we would be delighted to stay here again.
