This is simply the best hotel in Hong Kong. The incredible design, view, attention to personal details. Just got back from The Upper House in Admiralty, and wow, it was epic! The staff are amazing—super friendly and Welcoming. Big props to Leo and Gigi for arranging everything perfectly before I arrived, making me feel like a VIP from the moment I stepped in. They anticipated my needs before I even asked—total pros! The rooms? Mind-blowing! The views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong skyline are insane—those floor-to-ceiling windows and the huge hippo tub looking out at it all had me pinching myself. The place is super sleek with comfy beds and cool tech, and it’s spotless. Loved chilling there with that killer view! Being right above Pacific Place is clutch—easy MTR access, shops, and a quick hop to Hong Kong Park. I didn’t even leave much. If you want a laid-back luxury vibe in HK, this place nails it. Can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at the Upper House after our wedding last year and came back a year later. Not only were we welcomed warmly by the staff again (special thanks to Leo- who even remembered our anniversary and prepared a special send-off gift for us when we checked out!). We stayed at the Corner Suite the first time and the Upper Suite the second time. Both times were amazing, we were extremely impressed by the service and the amenities, the design of the room and the overall comfort. We also loved the breakfast options in the morning. We cannot wait to stay at the Upper House again next time we visit Hong Kong.

The Upper House is without a doubt, one of the best (if not the best) hotels I have ever stayed in. I don’t even know where to start with this review but i’ll give it a go…. From the moment you enter the hotel you are captivated by the unique aroma and subtle, yet classy design of the timeless interior. The staff are instantly there to greet you every time you enter or leave the hotel. We were looked after by Paul, who spoilt us with his kindness and professionalism from beginning to end. He took us to our room and did a “one of a kind” (for us anyway) and checked us into our room, whilst we relaxed in our room! This instantly made us feel at home and a very nice way of checking into a hotel. The room itself is faultless in every way. The attention to detail can be seen everywhere, not just in the room itself, but throughout the entire hotel. The room is extremely spacious and we felt like we never wanted to leave the room. The bath had the most incredible view over Hong Kong, my partner never wanted to get out! One thing I would also like to note, the room was constantly being cleaned and topped up with anything we used (coffee, drinks, cosmetics etc) throughout the days of our stay. As well as a daily turndown service. Such a lovely touch! The breakfast menu was exceptional with the most spectacular views over Hong Kong! We were looked after by Jackie each day, who couldn’t have done more for us! The Green Room bar area for sundowners has an extensive drinks menu with fantastic cocktails. Check out the guest toilets too, as they’re as stunning as the rest of the hotel, again - the view is worth seeing! To everyone at The Upper House, a huge thank you for the stay of a lifetime! We already can’t wait to return.

No matter how many times we return, we are always impressed by the comfort, elegance, and consistency. What makes The Upper House truly special, however, is the service. We have never once been disappointed – the team goes above and beyond on every visit. A heartfelt thank you to Edward Tang, who has looked after us for the past decade with genuine warmth and care. His personal touches, including the thoughtful gifts awaiting us upon arrival, make each stay feel even more memorable. After 10 years of returning, we can confidently say that everything about The Upper House is simply perfect. We love it, and it will always be our first choice in Hong Kong.
