The Upper House

I recently visited The Upper House for Chef Oh Jun-tak’s special dinner, and it was such an incredible experience. Sharon Lee always welcomes me with so much warmth, and her delicate, thoughtful care never fails to fill my heart. A big thank you to Ken as well for taking such great care of us throughout the evening. The wine pairings were also a huge highlight. Sommelier Roger and Gavin’s detailed, engaging explanations added so much depth to the meal—learning the stories behind each wine made every course taste even better. Exceptional food, perfect pairings, and unmatched hospitality. Truly a memorable night!

A special mention to Sharon — as a Korean guest, I really appreciate her warmth and friendliness. She is always so kind and lovely, and I can completely understand why she is so well loved among Korean guests. There is something very special about the sense of familiarity here. Every time I come back, it genuinely feels a little like coming home and being welcomed by family. Thank you to the entire Upper House team for another unforgettable evening — I’m already looking forward to what you organize next!

The upper house is the BEST hotel in the world! It’s been my HOUSE for the past 10 years and I wish it was closer to where I live. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The view is stunning, the staff is more than amazing. and the attention to details is beyond any hotel I ever been to.

The Upper House is an incredible property right in the center of Hong Kong. I stayed here for a 3 day trip - the service was exceptional, even when I ordered Room service at 1:00 am. The design of the hotel is high end from the lobby to the rooms and the restaurant. It still feels like home

Both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were exquisitely prepared. Dishes were beautifully presented with premium‑quality. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at The Upper House. It is without doubt one of the finest luxury properties in Hong Kong, highly recommended for travellers seeking exceptional comfort and service.
