The Upper House

Ideal location—just a short walk from everything, making it effortless to explore the area. The atmosphere has a calm, cozy vibe, and our room was spotless and truly comfortable. Me and my husband especially appreciated the welcoming cake and candle, such a thoughtful touch. The entire place is well maintained and surprisingly quiet, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. We left feeling refreshed and truly appreciated. I’d happily return and recommend this place without hesitation.

Our time at Upper House was amazing. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location to walk anywhere you want. However, what really made our stay special was the incredible staff. This was our second time to Hong Kong, but it was such a richer experience, thanks to the time Upper House employees took to ensure we had authentic, local adventures. In particular, Sharon lead us to fabulous local restaurants and gave us tips on where best to visit and shop. If you are coming to Hong Kong, don’t miss your chance to stay at Upper House. You will be glad you did!

Upper House is not just a nice hotel; they treat you above and beyond what you expected. The staff is very helpful and professional, especially the front desk lady, Sharon. Sharon always greets us with a warm smile and offers us something after a long day. When we came back from our outing, tired, she always asked what she could bring to our room. I always request a hot ginger tea with lemon and honey. After that, Sharon remembered what made us feel good after a long day: hot ginger tea brought to our room each day. Someday, she even brought a nice cooling face mask to our room for us to refresh. Sharon is an amazing lady; she makes our trip so enjoyable. I'm really glad to have discovered Upper House. Hope to return to The Upper House again soon.

Absolutely stunning stay - numerous little details making us feel seen, celerbated and loved - I know that sounds like a lot, but it was truly one of the most remarkably and unique hotel stays ever. The team are personable and friendly, understanding out needs immediately and gave personalised recommendations for our short time in Hong Kong. The room - designed with 90s effortlessly chic clean lines - was beautiful with double aspect views of the harbour, with a bath overlooking the water. The food was aspirational without being intimating. Cocktails were delicious. All round, a wonderful wonderful stay!

My corner room had breathtaking panoramic views of Hong Kong and even the bathroom offered a spectacular skyline view from the tub. Every aspect felt effortlessly elegant, from the serene design to the thoughtful touches throughout. I’ve traveled the world, yet The Upper House remains one of the most exceptional hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
