The Upper House

We've stayed at Upper House several times over the years and it's been a perfect boutique hotel everytime. Rooms are generously sized, even the lower priced ones. A commanding view is assured because they are all on high floors of the building that's shared by Mariott ( with separate entrances). Bathrooms are luxurious with bathtubs and a separate rain shower that's superb. Best of all is the service which is beyond 5 stars from the manager Edward Tang who is always on hand to keep things moving smoothly, to the front desk, concierge, porters and all the restaurant staff. Location at Pacific Place means you are connected to malls and mid level areas seamlessly. Wanchai with multiple food outlets is at your doorstep. The gym is smallish but almost always empty so you can still have a quiet workout on the excellent Technogym and Concept equipment.

Had a lovely stay at Upper House Hong Kong with my daughters — From the moment we arrived, the warm “welcome back” made us feel at home. The suite was beautiful with an amazing harbour view, and all the little amenities were so thoughtful and comfortable, movie night and pillow fight were the highlight to my girls. Loved the breakfast at Salisterra — fresh and delicious, staff was helpful and friendly! Such a relaxing and memorable stay, can’t wait to come back again.

Upper House Hong Kong is a fantastic choice for travelers who value both convenience and comfort. Its location makes it easy to explore the city, putting key sights and transit within effortless reach. Inside, the rooms are thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay—cozy and well-appointed. The spacious bathtub with stunning cityview is what I enjoy the most. To top it off, breakfast is a real highlight. It’s welcoming, satisfying, and offers a great start to the day so you can enjoy your morning before heading out to discover Hong Kong.

This stay was better than my first time. This is still my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful, I get the best sleep, the restaurant in the morning is incredible(the view is amazing!!!), and the service is the best 5-star hotel service I’ve ever experienced at all my 5-star stays. The staff is so helpful, it’s like they are thinking about what you need before you do. If you visit here, ask for Zion, both times I’ve been he’s given me the best recommendations, goes above and beyond for anything I need while I’m there. When I arrived this time they checked me into my room early, had breakfast waiting on me, and made sure anything I needed was available. To be honest if there was an upper house in any of the other cities I visited these would be the only properties I’d stay in. Overall a 10 in every area!!!

Wonderful view, location and very friendly staff. One of the best hotel in hong kong! Breakfast is great, even room servkce food quality is very awaresome.
