The Upper House

Thank you for giving me a memorable birthday stay with Upper House HK, warm welcome & greeting from Paul & Gigi, especially Gigi who did lots of things for me - photo frame with lovely photos, welcome card with my favourite character design, delicious birthday cake with my favourite chocolate flavour, and thank you Angel & Jaimie prepared some great birthday present to me with Gigi, hope to stay in the house again and again!

We had a very pleasant time during our stay at the hotel, our room had an excellent view of the Vitoria Harbour. Special thanks to Ms. Gigi to arrange such a wonderful room for us.

We stayed one night passing through HK on our Honeymoon and had the best time - wishing we could have stayed longer! The room and views were spectacular, the level of service was impecable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the bar and other ammenities. What an amazing hotel in a great location with an overall wonderful atmosphere!

We had the most incredible staycation at The Upper House. To start, we had a personalised and effortless check in with the wonderful Edward Tang, who met us as we came out of the taxi and whisked us straight up to our suite. Our harbour view suite was so spacious and I could sit there staring at the view endlessly - there’s always something new to look at. The bed is sooo comfortable, I slept like a log. In the morning I had a luxurious warm bath with a view and the huge vanity area of the bathroom makes a mundane morning routine into a delight. We were given lots of lovely gifts throughout our stay from the most comfortable PJ sets to smart monogrammed razors. We enjoyed delicious cocktails with a view at Salisterra in the evening and the amazing breakfast the following morning. My partner raved about his full English after two weeks of a lot of local food in HK. A big thank you to Nick Moore and his team for such attentive service! And finally at check out, we had the fabulous Paul Stanton assist us. Whilst we were checking out, someone in his team swiftly came over to us to pass us a couple of phone charging cables we had forgotten in the suite - such a thoughtful gesture. Paul then personally waved down a taxi and saw us off. All in all, a very special experience I couldn’t recommend more for a special occasion or a luxurious base from which to explore one of the greatest cities on earth!

It's been some time since I was last at Upper House Hong Kong and it has been close to 10 years since I started to stay with Upper House Hong Kong. Staying at this hotel has always been something I looked forward to. Even though it has been close 10 years, the hotel has never failed to provide me with small pleasant surprises. There is also a sense of familiarity which brings comfort after so many years. This familiarity comes from the same faces who truly gets to know you, your personality and your preferences. The familiarity also comes from knowing the exact spot to lie down on the sofa to ensure a good afternoon snooze. It is good to see the bar brimming with energy and activity this trip which is truly uplifting.
