The Upper House

I recently stayed at Upper House Hong Kong for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. While I initially knew little about the story and design concept behind the property, Derek kindly took the time to give me a tour of the hotel, explaining the significance of the artwork and the meaning behind various design elements. His insightful introduction greatly enriched my stay and allowed me to appreciate the unique character and heritage of the house on a much deeper level. I would also like to commend Vanessa at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly, professional, and efficient in handling all of my requests throughout my stay. At the restaurant, I particularly enjoyed the Hainanese Chicken Rice, which was delicious and well prepared. Overall, the service standards were of a high standing, and every interaction with the team was warm and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning to The Upper House on my next visit to Hong Kong. 先日、香港のアッパーハウスに2泊滞在し、大変素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。 客室は清潔で快適に整えられており、とても心地よい滞在となりました。当初はホテルのコンセプトや背景にあるストーリーについてあまり知識がありませんでしたが、Derekさんが館内をご案内くださり、展示されているアート作品やデザインに込められた意味を丁寧に説明してくださいました。そのおかげでホテルへの理解が深まり、この滞在がより特別で印象深いものになりました。 また、フロントデスクのVanessaさんにも感謝申し上げます。どのような依頼にも親切かつ迅速に対応してくださり、そのプロフェッショナルなサービスに大変感銘を受けました。 レストランでは海南鶏飯（ハイナンチキンライス）をいただきましたが、とても美味しく、滞在中の楽しみの一つとなりました。 総じて、サービスの質は非常に高く、スタッフの皆様の温かいおもてなしが印象的でした。心から満足できる滞在となり、次回香港を訪れる際にもぜひ再びアッパーハウスに宿泊したいと思います。

We had an excellent stay at Upper House Hong Kong and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a busy day in the bustling streets of Hong Mong. The breakfast and afternoon tea was also wonderful. The property's location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and key attractions. The service throughout our stay was consistently exceptional. The team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and their attention to detail made a real difference. They completely spoilt our little toddler with birthday treats and Juju, the in-house rabbit! Special shoutout to Sharon, Kashish, Vanessa, Annika, Nit, Candice and the team at Salisterra who treated us like family. Overall, Upper House Hong Kong exceeded our expectations in every way and gave us lifelong memories. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all travellers.

5 stars for the property, room size, and views. 4 stars for the service and arrival experience. The hotel’s greatest strengths are undoubtedly its spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and spectacular views. The panorama from the room is truly breathtaking and likely one of the main reasons many guests choose to stay here. The location is good depending on your needs: a luxury shopping mall is next to the property, and Central can be reached on foot, making it a convenient base for both leisure and business. Service throughout my stay was professional though not particularly memorable or exceptional. One aspect that stood out was the arrival experience. The hotel does not have a traditional reception desk, and guests are greeted directly by staff upon entering. While this creates a more personalized approach, I found the check-in process somewhat lacking in transparency. I was immediately asked for my passport and credit card without any explanation regarding their purpose or the check-in procedure. While I understood this was likely for registration and authorization purposes, a brief explanation would have made the interaction feel more welcoming and professional. Additionally, I noticed that the staff member who checked me in later viewed my LinkedIn profile. While I appreciate that staff may seek to better understand their guests, the timing made the interaction feel not very discreet.

My family and I recently stayed at The Upper House and had a wonderful experience. What I appreciated most was how easy everything felt. The team was warm, attentive, and always seemed to know when to step in and when to give guests their space. Nothing felt scripted, and that made all the difference. The room was beautiful, the views were incredible, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and welcoming. Even after staying at many luxury hotels, The Upper House felt different in its own way. Thank you to Edward and the team for looking after us so well. We left with great memories and hope to be back again soon.

Location is good, service ok, like the layout of the room and Edward is very helpful and good experience. The breakfast is just soso for the chinese choice
