Refined, calm, and impeccably run. This is classic luxury without the noise. Service is flawless, rooms are comfortable and understated, and the beachfront setting is one of the best in Waikiki. House Without a Key is a standout for sunsets, food, and atmosphere. Not trendy or flashy—just quietly excellent. Ideal if you value serenity, quality, and real relaxation.

realize that a great hotel experience
I recently stayed at the Halepuna Waikiki, and I was deeply impressed by the hospitality shown by Shogo, Eric, and the female staff working at night. Until now, I thought a hotel was simply a place to sleep, but they made me realize that a great hotel experience is so much more than that. Thanks to Shogo's arrangements, a new world opened up for me, and my time in Hawaii became even more enjoyable. I truly appreciate the exceptional service and care provided by the entire team.

Brilliantly beautiful and lovely stay!
I have always wanted to stay at one of the Halekulani properties and I was pleasantly surprised to find a good weekend deal at the Halepuna in early December. From check-in to check-out everyone I encountered was so lovely and made me feel at home, very much showing the spirit of aloha with timeless and modern elegance. The rooms are very clean and come with all the amenities (or you can ask for things needed as they list this as part of their sustainability clause), with a beautiful 8th floor garden deck, fitness room and pool if you don't decide to go to the beach. I even took advantage of the ice cream that they had in the afternoon on Friday when I checked in and the 10% discount at their amazing bakery on Sunday (show your room key). Would definitely come back as it's quite central and walkable to all the great Waikiki sites.

Beautiful Property Excellent Customer Service
Very clean & most importantly the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The 8th floor offers great amenities including an infinity pool & a state of the art gym/workout room.
