Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort

There's no better location in Waikiki than the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. Not only are you in the middle of everything, it's one of the very few hotels that is located on the sand, meaning you can walk from your room to the beach without crossing any roads. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with a traditional Hawaiian feel, although there is a renovation taking place in 2026 that will bring modern touches. The hotel boasts the best views in Waikiki from the Hula Grill restaurant and below it is the iconic Dukes. The staff are full of Aloha and attentive to detail. If you're able to afford the rooms with Voyager 47 Club Lounge access, you'll enjoy complimentary breakfast and dinner in the lounge (including a wide range of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) with the best views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, as the lounge is located next to Hula Grill. We've stayed at the hotel on six occasions and it gets better every time.

The Pool, the View, the Staff, ability to do your own laundry, covered every need I had for a great stay. Would be my go to spot next time in Honolulu..

Once again another great stay at the Outrigger ! It's a staycation for me as I live on Hawaii Island and I always stay here right on the beach and right in the middle of Waikiki so all the shopping is close. The Voyager access is great (A note to the hotel : Perhaps change up the menu a little more , not a criticism as the food is nice but a change in the offerings would be nice ) and saves a lot of $$$ with a great view of the beach to enjoy !!

Our family had an incredible stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ligaya at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure our entire family was comfortable and well taken care of. She personally ensured our rooms were just right and followed through with such genuine care that it truly set the tone for our vacation. What impressed us even more was how she helped recover my husband’s membership account number so we wouldn’t miss out on earning points for our stay, something most people would easily overlook, but she made it a priority without us even asking twice. Her warmth, professionalism, and kindness made us feel like valued guests rather than just another check-in.
