A family trip
Where to begin? Arrival was welcoming and streamlined. Although our room wasn’t ready , alternative arrangements were offered. The location is perfect, near the beach and shops. The room, although not super modern offers a calm and tranquil environment which lends itself to a truly relaxing holiday. This was not our first visit to the Halekulani and hopefully will not be our last. Thank you to all the staff who made us welcome. I do recommend taking advantage of the cultural tours offered. This trip we brought our daughter and grandson (13yo) and they were truly impressed by everything they experienced. Thank you

Truly exceptional
We just enjoyed a week at the Halekulani, and it was wonderful. We arrived on Friday morning, and as our room wasn’t yet available, we were given access to the hospitality suite to relax. We used it to wash, and change into swimwear so we could relax by the pool. We received a phone call at around 2pm that our room was ready, and were also very kindly upgraded to a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was spacious and decorated in a calm colour palette, and very well equipped. It also smelled wonderful. The public spaces are all beautifully maintained, and it is a popular spot for weddings- we saw 3 or 4 during our stay. Breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed both Orchids and the House Without A Key buffet. The menu varied slightly every day, so it never got monotonous, and my rather odd favourite were the absolutely delicious roast Brussel sprouts- I could have eaten them all day. Compliments to the chef! The staff were all so lovely and helpful, and they arranged several cultural excursions for guests. We particularly enjoyed the visits to Shangri La, and the Mānoa Heritage Centre. They also suggested the best spots to see turtles on the reef in front of the hotel, which we did- such a highlight! It is in a convenient location, with really easy walking access to the shops and restaurants of Waikiki The Halekulani deserves its excellent reputation, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Hawaiian Bliss
The Halekulani is an oasis of perfection in Hawaii. We booked an ocean view room for our last two nights in Hawaii. What a great decision. We enjoyed our lanai, the superior restaurants, pool/services, spa appointments & location for exploring Honolulu. Superior quality in Hawaii!

This hotel, from start to finish, is simply a class act.
