Halepuna, the little resort that could!!!
Great stay, perfect staff, but awkward beach access, and awkward pool deck. Just be aware. If you are lucky enough to get an ocean view on a high floor though, those little things will melt away. Eat at UMI. Enjoy!!!

Lovely place to stay
This is a lovely hotel. Very quiet. Helpful reception. Very clean. Had a Deluxe Ocean View room. Would definitely stay here again.

Our New, Permanent Go-To Waikiki Spot!
As neighbor island residents, we do staycations on Oahu quite a bit and have tried just about every hotel in the area. Halepuna is on a whole different level. What stood out the most to us was the team—the hospitality here is pure aloha spirit, completely genuine, and never felt forced or corporate. They truly know how to take care of local folks. On top of that, their local resident perks beat out every other resort package we’ve ever used. The property is beautifully maintained, pristine, and perfectly situated. Mahalo to everyone on shift during our stay for making it a true retreat. We’ve found our new go-to spot!

Nice Hotel
Very clean hotel and well appointed. No beach or direct access to beaches and the view is very limited so staying here is for either the location or just a nice hotel and not to walk out to the beach. Staff were all very pleasant but did not seem approachable all the time. Dining (breakfast) was this way, we waited over 5 min before anyone even acknowledged us. Overall a nice stay but for the price compared to other non beach hotels not sure the value is worth a return. We had a nice stay but not a memorable one.

Great location. Very quiet rooms with lovely ocean views but small balcony. Great staff and good pool deck. Access to beach from in front of hotel
