Ocean View Room
We enjoyed our stay and have nothing bad to say. Although the Halepuna does not have its own private beach access, we were able to take a ~10 minute walk to the public Waikiki beach. The hotel even provided a beach bag and towels for us to use. Highly recommend getting a room with an ocean view!! It was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious. Try the Mai-tai pancakes!

No Email Confirmation led to being stuck with one more night
I booked my reservation as part of a conference. I never received an email confirmation or my reservation. I called before arriving to change the reservation and was not allowed to change it. I attempted to change the reservation after I arrived and was not allowed to change it. Even though I was already staying 5 nights, the hotel was forcing me to pay for the 6th night even thought I had called and told them I wanted to change the reservation. I spoke to the staff and manager who was unwilling to help. I was only able to cancel my 6th night by speaking to the Sales Manager on the Mainland and she allowed me to cancel the 6th night because I did not receive an email. This was a horrible experience. I have never had this happen to me before.

Ambience and luxury
Love the ambiance of this hotel. You feel luxurious the moment you arrive. Comfortable beds and pillows, well equipped rooms with great view. Excellent location. We will be back

I want to stay at Halepuna again
Clean and comfortable. A twin room requires two chairs. Having a water dispenser on each floor is convenient. I thought there weren't enough washing machines.

Great Hotel in Waikiki
This is the first time we have been to Hawaii and this hotel made the experience very great. It was clean, modern, and staff were professional. It is also located in a very nice and convenient area that is not too crowded.
