Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani

The location is excellent, the pool is wonderful, and the nearby ocean feels like a special and powerful place. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the center of Waikiki, so it is easy to go out whenever we want, even just to grab something to eat. The bakery is also very convenient, and everything we need is close by. I was disappointed that I did not receive the email notifying me that my room was ready for check-in. Other than that, I think our stay was almost perfect.

I so enjoyed my 5 days at the Halepuna. The rooms were nice, relatively spacious, and comfortable. When I vacation, I spend as much time in my room as I do exploring, so my accommodations matter. I loved my visits to the adjoining Halekulani bakery in the mornings for coffee and croissants. I sat on the outside patio and enjoyed my breakfast while having quiet time with the Lord. I also enjoyed the fine dining at Umi, the restaurant in the lobby of the Halepuna. The staff there were friendly and welcoming. Additionally, the staff were so friendly and helpful. From the desk agents to the maintenance staff…good vibes ruled the days. The staff helped us with booking activities and provided umbrellas for us to brave the Hurricane Lowell aftermath. And the beaches…absolutely spectacular! Next time I come to Oahu, I’ll stay at the sister resort across the street for beach access from the hotel. I can’t wait!

We chose Halepuna Waikiki because my brother and sister were staying there and highly recommended it. Our stay was very short—only about seven hours—so we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy the amenities. It would have been a nice touch to receive a few extra welcome amenities or a small welcome gift, given the brief duration of our stay. Overall, the property was pleasant, and I wish we had more time to experience everything it offers.

This hotel located next to the Waikiki beach and very close to shopping area. The service people is nice and friendly. Room is well maintained and clean. We have a ocean view room during our stay that really bring us a Hawaiian vacation experience.

My mother and I had a truly wonderful stay at Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani. The hotel was beautiful, and we especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and warm hospitality. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming, which made our stay feel even more special. We had a wonderful time in Waikiki and are very grateful for the beautiful memories we made here. We would love to stay at Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani again on our next visit to Hawaii!
