Location wise this hotel is great and a perfect spot on Waikiki Beach surrounded by shops, restaurants and a great vibe. Otherwise this hotel is just average, it is old, tired, and in need of refurbishment. The room that we had was large and the beds were comfortable, but beyond that there were a few things that were sub par for the price. If nothing else I expect to have a hotel with a hot shower, which in this case was nonexistent. In spite of my request to their housekeeping department over four nights, I never had a hot shower. At over $50 a day the resort fee is quite high. That is probably standard for the area. With so many other choices in the area, when we return on another visit, I will probably look elsewhere.

Rooms need updating. We paid extra for ocean/diamond head view. The viewing was amazing but the room was run down-felt like a low budget motel room.

Amazing stay, enjoyed the on-site Hula lesson. Cherry on top to a bucket list trip for a first trip to Hawaii. Thank you for holding our bags when we arrived after the Ncl Pride of America cruise.

Ideal location overlooking Wakiki Beach. Hotel is a typical heavily used tourist hotel, don't bother with Regency Club access its a waste of money. Minimal snacks and food, breakfast and dinner both well below other chains lounge offerings and paid for drinks. Very poor selection all round more like a cafeteria

The view and location were great. The rooms were a bit dated with dirty carpets and old paint on the walls. The beach towels are a scam. You get them from a vending machine that scans your room key, apparently has the ability to know how many towels you remove, but then does not know when you put them back in the "always open" return door when you put them back. Came home to a $100 charge on my final invoice. Had to call and get a refund, without issue, but the whole charge to begin with is ridiculous. Don't want to waste time after my trip disputing erroneous charges.
