The Kahala Hotel & Resort

We had nothing but next level care and subsequent, joy, at the Kahala resort .From the ease of booking the best rates, the absolute best bell service, valet, housekeeping, room service , property restaurants were enjoyed by all… Several of our group of friends and family that traveled to Oahu stayed here for my sons wedding. Everyone enjoyed their subsequent Accommodations, but none more than the bride and groom, that enjoyed a beachfront room - allowing us all access to enjoy the kahala beach as if it were our front yard. The delay in renovating the dolphin view rooms caused a bit of a hiccough at first for us, but we were taken care of and upgraded to both dolphin AND ocean view- a suite no less- which was so ideal as I had grandkids to watch periodically .. the beautiful pool- heated to a level of comfort that had even our most hesitant of swimmers, jumping in first! We chose the kahala to be near everything- but AWAY from everything .. and it was, exactly that! We will NEVER forget your hospitality and how it made this wedding trip absolutely perfect

The Kahala is an older hotel on the model of NYC's Plaza and Waldorf Astoria.Our room was large, extremely comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The style is not cutting edge modern and some things may seem strange to those under 30: an alarm clock, a sweet but single sink in our room despite an unusually large bath area. The room was easily the size of a 500-600 foot studio apartment, with a deck size to match. I enjoyed the huge windowed wall and high-quality curtains. Some reviewers commented that the hotel needs a "refresh." I found everything just fine and in accord with its era, which is the 20th (mid-century) rather than 21st. The pool is small but there are dolphins and a lovely, honest to goodness private beach as well as gracious loungers and a cozy hot tub. Also private taxis if you don't want to drive or Uber into downtown or Waikiki. All in all, I loved our stay! Friendly people, good food at a variety of restaurants.

Sayuri and Saori were simply AMAZING! Fun, funny, kind, caring, and the best massage therapist and aesthetician!!! We had an incredible experience! Now relaxing in the cabana and feeling awesome! Mahalo so much Saori and Sayuri!!!

Sayuri and saori were incredible! Extremely warm and found knots that needed to be worked. Great pressure and we felt fantastic after, we both said one of the best massages we have ever had! Thank you!
