The Laylow Waikiki, Autograph Collection

My husband stays here a lot for work trips and I was fortunate enough to tag along this time. The hotel is amazing, so nice and clean. The staff is extremely friend and our housekeeper Charlie is just wonderful. She is so sweet and friendly. I don’t know if you can request her but if you can, do! She was seriously one of the nicest people I met here. I don’t know how often people who work at the hotels see these reviews but I hope someone reads this because Charlie is the best!

The hotel has been nicely redone in mid century vibe and the rooms are clean, staff is friendly in a very central Waikiki location with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. However, some major problems from my perspective. Hotel rooms are known to never have enough light, but this one was one of the worst I've been in where getting ready before there is sunlight was a challenge. Bathroom towels were also noticeably rough/scratchy for what is meant to be a boutique hotel experience. The bar (club) downstairs could be heard well into the night many nights, even on the 11th floor. Understanding it's Waikiki, but it's very noisy so if an early/quiet night's sleep is a priority, you probably want to look somewhere else. Seems like they are prioritizing outside guests vs hotel guests with the level of noise the bar produces until almost midnight. The coffee shop in the morning was wonderful and the breakfast two morning was also good, if not quite expensive, even for the area.

The hotel staffs are super nice and helpful My housekeeper Sherry Mae is taking care of us very well. Very good location We will come back

Sharry Mae was absolutely wonderful! She did an amazing job with our room and went above and beyond to make sure everything was spotless, fresh, and comfortable. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, and you could tell she truly takes pride in her work. It’s people like Sharry Mae who make a hotel stay feel extra special. She is a wonderful asset to the housekeeping team and definitely deserves recognition for her outstanding service. Thank you, Sharry Mae, for taking such great care of us!

We had a great stay at the hotel! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Rimu at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was very helpful throughout our stay. I also want to give a special thank you to Mayrose from houseperson, who was working at night and kindly delivered our toothbrushes and extra blankets when we needed them. We really appreciated her help and kindness. Overall, everyone made us feel very welcome, and we would definitely stay here again!
