Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort

What a great experience!!! After living in Hawaii for 14 years, I have always pushed people to NOT stay in Waikiki, just visit Kanikapila and stay elsewhere on Oahu. My mind has changed because of Outrigger Reef Waikīkī!!! The other, 10 people we brought with us felt the same!!!! From Kawika at the bell stand to Jenny cleaning our room, the hospitality displayed was so personal and professional!! The addition of Monkeypod and escalating the Kanikapila menu has put ORW at the top of my list for Oahu!!! Keep pushing forward!! Much Aloha!!!

We are a family with adult children. The hotel could not have been better. We loved the Mai Tais at Monkey Pod. We loved the pool, we loved the bar and music by the pool, we loved the Club breakfast and Happy Hour, we loved the balcony overlooking the ocean, waking up and watching the turtles from our balcony in early morning. We loved the sunset over Diamond Head and the Sunrise, both from our balcony. We loved walking out to the Jetty, We loved the small beach in front of our hotel that was not nearly as crowded as the ones further down. We loved the location. We could walk to all the activity, but could walk along the quiet ,beach at Ft. DeRussy, I think it was called to the Hawaiin Village property. We were close to the Uber stops if we wanted to drive to a different area for a few hours or the day, and we were close to all the shopping and restaurants on Waikiki. We feel we had the best of both worlds, near the action, and close to Uber stops to see the rest of the island and get away from the action!!! We did some tours, and saw some of the beaches away from Waikiki that were some of the pretties we'd ever seen! We definitely want to come back again...It was our first time, and hopefully not our last time!!!

Bonie, our housekeeper was the absolute best! He truly embodies the aloha spirit. A friendly face and a warm smile to see every morning. He took great care of us during our week at the outrigger reef. We also enjoyed Michael and Bernard at the pool and Ricky at the monkey pod. The customer service here was top-notch.

Memorable experience at the Outrigger. Service was impeccable. We even got to learn in the Cultural Center with Mark who educated us on Hawaiian History. Location is amazing and gives you walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants. Food onsite was good and have to comment on Service again as it was impeccable.

We were greeted by the most friendly person on earth Alex. He has been a great help and immediately made ua feel at home. The hotel is very clean. Well located ans very comfortable rooms.
