Excellent hotel and premises. Outstanding staff, bending over backwards to accommodate every need. Great location

Three of us stayed for four nights pre cruise. Location is excellent – right on the water and a short walk into town, on site Starbucks and ABC store very convenient. We had two queen beds in an ocean front room that was excellent – large, lots of storage, balcony right over the ocean. Staff were great – robe, slippers and desk chair were promptly provided. The lei making activity was good fun. Very nice pool area, we had no problem finding chairs, we ate at both restaurants and they were great. This is an expensive hotel in an expensive city, but overall recommended if you need to stay in Honolulu.

The hotel is across the street from the beach, in the middle of Waikiki, so the location is perfect for the ocean, shopping of ALL kinds, restaurants, live music, the zoo, and the aquarium. The Cirque du Soleil Auana show is at the hotel. The pool is small, but they keep the pool, hot tub, and padding on the lounge chairs clean. The rooms are updated and clean. Ana and Kunying did a wonderful job keeping our room clean! The Hawaiian Aroma Cafe has the best staff and service with Sarah and the rest of the crew. We enjoyed freshly made breakfast daily and delicious coffee. Also, lots of cocktails! It's amazing what they do in a small space. Maui Brewing Company is right at the hotel, with Ian, Eric, & Tilly, amazing beer and food! Secret Spot is great for live music (especially Izik!) and cocktails.

Very accommodating front desk staff. Kanani helped us feel comfortable and welcomed. We were displaced from our hotel d/t no electricity after the hurricane. Kanani was very friendly and helpful. It was 7 people , with 4 rooms. Kanani relieved my stress while checking in. The rooms were clean and nice sized. The hotel is nicely located by the beach and offsite stores and restaurants.
