Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger

My stay at the Beachcomber Hotel was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Josh and Angelica at the front desk were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Norman, the bellman, went above and beyond with his kindness and assistance, making everything seamless. Jonah and RJ from valet were also fantastic! Always warm, attentive, and ready to help. Every team member I encountered was on top of everything, creating a smooth and memorable stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had an amazing time at the Outrigger Beachcomber! From the valet service, to easy check-in, the cleanliness and accommodating maid service, everything was great! We went during Easter weekend and they had Easter activities for the kids which was organized and fun! The pool stays open late which was so nice, alongside the Aroma Cafe which was perfect for breakfast, coffee, and even drinks for poolside! Angelica, the Director of Front Services, was able to upgrade our room and helped us get a cabana when we had thought they were sold out. I will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel is beautiful with lots of amenities. Kristina was amazing and was able to check us into our room early! We greatly appreciated it after a long day of travel.

We booked thru Costco Travel for three nights including a rental car for $1,275. This included breakfast, daily drinks, and waived the $40 resort fee. However valet parking at $55 per day was extra. We reserved a garden view room but was upgraded to a partial ocean view. I think we should have turned down the upgrade. Ocean view was very minimal and if I paid extra for it, I would have been disappointed. Our room #917 faced the roof of another building and you can hear their air conditioning units running when the door was open. The room was a typical tourist hotel. Room was a good size, lived in, but clean and in good condition. Shower stall, no tub. The included Breakfast was a limited menu. Cafe is small and tables fill up quickly. Regular menu items were $6 extra. We used our drinks coupons for water since there was none in the room. Every hotel in the world should provide a couple bottles of water at least on the first night. Wi-Fi was fine, but did not connect as instructed. I had to go back to the front desk to get connected. Room is lacking regular electrical sockets. There are usb ports near the bed, but we could not plug in Apple devices. Staff was friendly. Good location, but not on the beach We will be staying at another outrigger in Kona in a few days. Will be interesting to compare them.

Reasonable rates, located in the heart of Waikiki with warm and friendly staff. Very positive experience with booking, checking in, house keeping and bell staff. We have stayed there many times and are always given warm welcome, greeted by name, and treated like family. Our room choice faces Kalakaua with a view of the ocean. Rooms are kept clean with daily service.
