The Perfect Anniversary Escape
We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches, everything felt intentional and special. Our room was beautifully prepared, spotless, and had the most relaxing atmosphere — perfect for celebrating such a meaningful milestone. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated and cared for. One of the highlights of our stay was watching ʻAuana right at the hotel. The performance was absolutely breathtaking — vibrant, emotional, and uniquely Hawai‘i. It made our anniversary night unforgettable and added such a magical touch to the entire experience.

Average room with mold after high expectations
After searching around we found this hotel which was mostly location location location! Is it ever the location with everything very central, entertainment in the hotel even and within walking distance to shuttles, beach, and more. It was nice being so close and the pool was average but the following really put a wrench in our vacation. Downsides: about 4 weeks after a previous guest complained about mold (review on Tripadvisor here) the hotel said they were taking it very seriously. We got in a little later and went straight to sleep. In the morning I had noticed a scratch in my throat and some irritation. I brushed this off initially as acclimatizing. During a shower I had noticed significant mold growth in the room and brought forth to reception discreetly. We left for the day and part of the mold was now painted over and the rest still exposed. Now irritated they are pushing the issue under the rug; I confront them again and get an immediate sorry and “here is a different room”. We will look into it is what I was told again. My wife later developed some irritation from the mold as well.
