Reviews for Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger

Fantastic location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Location is amazing right in the middle of everything and two minute walk to the beach across the road and down a laneway. The pool area is small but when you can get a sunbed its nice. Otherwise just go to the beach. Room was great we were on the 23rd floor. It is a bit noisy at night but that is to be expected in a tourist spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Outstanding Hospitality & Front Desk Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Having been fortunate enough to have travelled to Oahu on many occasions, it is always my choice to stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. My recent trip, the 14th to the 23rd of April, was made extra special by Kristina on the front desk. Her bubbly, enthusiastic personality was only matched by her meticulous and thorough work ethic. Nothing was too much trouble for her, especially for an older person like myself. There wasn't any time, any day that her help and advice wasn't readily available with a willing smile. She has certainly enhanced the great service at the Beachcomber.

2 nights in Waikiki Beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

This hotel has the best location. This hotel is in the middle of everything being across the street from Waikiki Beach, next to Dukes Marketplace and along the main strip. The staff was wonderful especially James from the concierge desk. They have a great coffee bar and Maui Brew Co downstairs. Cirque du Soleil 'Auana downstairs is a must and guests get a discount. Overall would highly recommend the hotel .

Great Find in Waikiki

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

After searching online for somewhere to stay in Waikiki for a couple of nights, we happened upon this hotel and we are so happy that we found it. The staff was wonderful, the room updated, clean and plenty of room for a city hotel. Nice balcony. Two minute walk across the street to the beach. Right on the main drag of Waikiki so fun to walk around the beach, hotels and shopping. Convenient ABC stores for snacks and we also used for breakfast items to save money. The pool area was small, but when we used it in the afternoon after our sightseeing, no problem getting a chair. Fun little cafe opens out to the pool deck with happy hour. At night we could hear some street noise, but it did not keep us up and the hotel itself was quiet. We were only here for two nights, as we moved to a resort on the coast for the rest of our stay, but would recommend this hotel if you want to stay on Wakiki for any amount of time.
