Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger

We can only say good things about the Outrigger Beachcomber Hotel. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly — from the front desk staff, to the concierge, to the waiters and waitresses. We had the most amazing housekeeping staff, Jeanette and Lynn, who were the house cleaners on our floor #12. Jeanette specifically who cleaned our room daily, but Lynn was very helpful when I had a question or two for her. When we had problems with the TV, two technicians were up here within five minutes and solved the problem immediately. I would highly recommend staying here. It is very close to the beach, and there are so many shops nearby.

The hotel is about 2 blocks from the beach. Our room was nice and fresh but sadly on the third floor so no view to speak of. Rosario, from housekeeping, had the room cleaned early every day. You need to take a steep escalator up to the lobby but there is n elevator to take you to street level which no one tells you about. My husband thought the elevators could be slow but I was okay with them. We booked through luxury escapes and found the breakfast rather uninspiring, but it was included at Aroma cafe. Aroma cafe had a great Happy Hour and Adrian was the best mixologist! The pool was rectangular and uninspiring. Pool towels were available and plentiful. Sadly the toilet paper was horrible! Surely the could have quilted or better than single ply . 🤣🤣🤣 We had room service from Maui Brewing company one night and wouldn’t recommend. Overall, close to the beach and economical but to me it was a hotel, not resort and we spent very little time there.

Really poor service particularly by Yumi who looked angry when we asked to change rooms. Thoroughly spoilt our stay. Very disappointing

Great stay. Hotel is in an awesome location. Great little coffee shop. Special mention to Ryan from housekeeping dept. he went above and beyond to retrieve a pair of shorts which had blown off our balcony. Actually found them on a below roof top and retrieved them. Thank you so much

We had a great stay at Outrigger Waikīkī Beachcomber. It was a fantastic location and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Our housekeeping staff was amazing. Anita was top-notch. She’s such a sweetheart. She would bring us whatever we needed and always greeted us with a smile. She made our experience all the more amazing. We loved the included breakfast that we got with our Costco voucher. The selection was limited, but it was great food and amazing coffee. The concierge, James, was also so great. He helped us during an unexpected dental emergency. By the end of our stay, everyone felt like family. It was a great experience! Mahalo!
