Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger

I had a great experience staying at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel! The staff made my stay so much better, and I really appreciate how helpful and welcoming everyone was. A special shoutout to Yuuki, the front desk manager, who went above and beyond to help me with my room and extend my stay. Yuuki was incredibly helpful and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I also want to give a big thank you to Norman, the bellman, for being so helpful and providing great service. It’s the little things that make a difference, and both of them made me feel welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. Customer service like this is what makes a hotel stand out. I truly appreciate Yuuki and Norman for making my experience memorable. I would definitely recommend the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel and would love to stay here again on my next visit to Hawaii

My husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary here and from check in to check out it was pretty much perfect!! Check in was super fast and staff were super friendly!! We were on the 12th floor, rooms are spotless!! A little small but nothing serious! We loved the private balcony and spend every evening out there!! My only complaint was the bathrooms are old and outdated…..they could use an update!! We didn’t fly out until the night so we got late check out with no problems! Location is perfect…..walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach! The Cheesecake Factory is right across the street! Definitely want to return SOON!!

The location is perfect, right in the middle of Waikiki and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The atmosphere is also great, with a great bar/coffee shop in the lobby, and also the home to Auana Cirque du Solei with Maui Brewing Company. The rooms are very clean and modern. The only complaint is that I wish it had smart TVs, that lets us stream youtube, netflix and other services for the kid(s). With that said, housekeeping services were great, much thank you to those who cleaned our room, specially Corazon! The value is the best for the money, in comparison to other hotels we checked in the area. Noise was not a problem at all, except when you open the sliding doors for the deck…you have to deal with the sound of the HVAC/electrical unit that powers the whole building, if you get a room in the back side. So, if you don’t like the struggling AC unit and wanted to sleep with the sliding doors open for the cool breeze, I suggest you book a room facing the ocean side. Last but not least, the front desk staff were very nice and welcoming. They accommodated our needs as much as they could…thank you also to Wendy. Also, all the staff in valet parking were great. Much mahalos to all.

We just checked in for our third stay at this hotel, and it honestly just keeps getting better! Today we were greeted and welcomed by Zharich, who was such a beautiful, warm and helpful front desk receptionist. She was incredibly accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. She really went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect — and it really was. Our room is lovely and spacious, and the hotel is in such a great location. We just love staying here! The pool, Aroma Cafe and the little laundry are also fantastic amenities to have on-site and make the stay even more convenient. My only complaint is the price of the car parking. At $55 USD plus tax per night, it is very expensive and might honestly be the ONLY reason we consider looking elsewhere next time. It’s a shame, because we really do love everything else about this hotel. Overall, another wonderful stay — and a huge thank you to Zharich for making our check-in so lovely!
