Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Houston

A solid 5 star

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Being a long time Four Seasons fan & guest (this was stay 134), I have a particular expectation from the brand; and thats a very high standards consistently. From a “regular” 5 Star basis, this property hits all the marks; and is adequate. From a Four Seasons standard, it is one of the less special experiences I had -but is still far above a regular experience. I often get asked why I rate certain places so highly, and it always boils down to people & guest experience - not the hard product alone. If you are in Houston, cant go wrong with this place - just not a WoW experience.

3 star hotel. Bad TV, Food, Basic Amenities

For this price no full length mirror, no free water bottles in your room? Room service terrible: chicken wings so overcooked, rubbery, and tasteless, it seems they cooked them yesterday. For $25. And they “forgot” my order of a wine glass and brought me a bottle, hoping I’d accept a $125 bill for wings and a glass of wine. Try to watch movies and it turns out the digital feed is so bad you can’t see the movie for more than a minute. What a joke at this price. If I wanted takeout and Netflix on my laptop, I’d choose a motel.

Amazing, central Houston 5 🌟 hotel, perfect for pre stay before a Galveston Cruise.🚢

Everybody in this hotel I’ve experienced is utterly charming. We had a challenge with the hotel organised pick up (who wasn’t there on arrival, then got lost and then picked us up 45 mins late) and felt a little hassled in check in. The reception team listened to my feedback and gave me a very generous solution. We booked with Amex Platinum so you have $30 breakfast credit per guest and $100 dining credit as well as early check in and late check out. If this wasn’t good enough you also get an upgrade, subject of course to availability. The hotel, albeit rather dated from the outside, is lovely inside and commands a very central place in Central Houston. Lots of nice bars and restaurants around and the Toyota Centre is only a 5 minute walk if you want to watch the Houston Rockets basketball, we did . The excursion company we used for our tour (Houston Tours) were literally a block away. Breakfast is served in the hotels signature restaurant, Toro Toro and I rank it one of top 3 breakfasts I’ve had in the 62 countries I’ve visited. Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you are going on a cruise from Galveston (as we are). Whoever is dealing with the staff in this hotel, well done. As a CEO myself it’s lovely to see happy and motivated colleagues.

Sick kid - incredible hospitality from the Four Seasons Houston - thank you.

I showed up at the Four Seasons at 8 AM with a super sick kid. (Dental abscess that led to bad infection) We had just had a terrible flight and I was worried that we would have to sit in the lobby for hours until normal check-in time and I was also worried I would have to take him to an Emergency Room. They checked us right in and sent us to a suite. They also asked if I needed help finding a doctor for my Son. Turns out all he needed was a nap so the antibiotics he was taking could take effect. What great hospitality. I wish I could remember the names of everyone who was so nice to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone and I look forward to staying with you again on my next trip to Houston.

Best hotel experience!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 months ago

Manager Marcia is the best person we’ve ever met in our hotel experience. We used to prefer the Ritz-Carlton, but now we’ve truly discovered the Four Seasons because of her. She handled every issue with care, treated us with respect, and showed genuine kindness toward our baby. Thanks to Marcia, we felt incredibly comfortable, valued, and happy throughout our stay. She is the most professional and amazing woman we’ve ever met. However, the management and restaurant staff at Toro Toro could really learn some courtesy and professionalism.
