Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Wonderful Accommodations!!!

Our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Houston began under less-than-ideal circumstances, but it ultimately became one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. My friend and I arrived on the evening of July 31 for a girls’ weekend in Houston. We had spent most of the day out and about after arriving in the city that morning, and unfortunately, we had just left another luxury hotel nearby after a very disappointing experience. By the time we arrived at the Four Seasons, we were tired, frustrated, and feeling as though our weekend had gotten off to a pretty rough start. My friend was able to book us into the Four Seasons through Chase Travel, and from the moment we arrived, the difference was remarkable. We were immediately greeted with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. While I waited nearby, my friend checked us in and shared a little about what we had experienced earlier that day. The Four Seasons team could not have been more gracious. To our complete surprise, they upgraded us to an absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious suite in the residential tower. We were overwhelmed—in the best possible way. The suite was stunning: beautifully appointed interiors, immaculate accommodations, exceptional attention to detail, and an overall level of comfort and luxury that exceeded our expectations. But as beautiful as the property was, what stood out most was the service. Every interaction felt warm, polished, professional, and genuinely hospitable. The Four Seasons Houston completely changed the trajectory of our weekend. What had started as a stressful and disappointing arrival in Houston became a wonderful girls’ trip, and this hotel played a tremendous part in that. I especially wanted to write this review because exceptional hospitality deserves to be acknowledged. The Four Seasons team did not simply provide us with a beautiful place to stay—they recognized that we had had a difficult day and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. This was easily one of the best hotel stays I have experienced. Beautiful property, impeccable accommodations, extraordinary service, and an exceptional staff. Thank you, Four Seasons Houston, for helping us salvage our trip and turning what could have been a disappointing weekend into such a memorable experience. 10/10. I would recommend the Four Seasons Houston without hesitation and would absolutely stay here again.

A comfortable stay, but rooms were tired and I expected more from a four seasons. We were upgraded to a residents suite, which was just average quality. The communal spaces were comfortable and very nice. But overall I thought it overpriced, trading off brand name, but it didn’t deliver or meet expectations.

A solid 5 star

Being a long time Four Seasons fan & guest (this was stay 134), I have a particular expectation from the brand; and thats a very high standards consistently. From a “regular” 5 Star basis, this property hits all the marks; and is adequate. From a Four Seasons standard, it is one of the less special experiences I had -but is still far above a regular experience. I often get asked why I rate certain places so highly, and it always boils down to people & guest experience - not the hard product alone. If you are in Houston, cant go wrong with this place - just not a WoW experience.

3 star hotel. Bad TV, Food, Basic Amenities

For this price no full length mirror, no free water bottles in your room? Room service terrible: chicken wings so overcooked, rubbery, and tasteless, it seems they cooked them yesterday. For $25. And they “forgot” my order of a wine glass and brought me a bottle, hoping I’d accept a $125 bill for wings and a glass of wine. Try to watch movies and it turns out the digital feed is so bad you can’t see the movie for more than a minute. What a joke at this price. If I wanted takeout and Netflix on my laptop, I’d choose a motel.

Amazing, central Houston 5 🌟 hotel, perfect for pre stay before a Galveston Cruise.🚢

Everybody in this hotel I’ve experienced is utterly charming. We had a challenge with the hotel organised pick up (who wasn’t there on arrival, then got lost and then picked us up 45 mins late) and felt a little hassled in check in. The reception team listened to my feedback and gave me a very generous solution. We booked with Amex Platinum so you have $30 breakfast credit per guest and $100 dining credit as well as early check in and late check out. If this wasn’t good enough you also get an upgrade, subject of course to availability. The hotel, albeit rather dated from the outside, is lovely inside and commands a very central place in Central Houston. Lots of nice bars and restaurants around and the Toyota Centre is only a 5 minute walk if you want to watch the Houston Rockets basketball, we did . The excursion company we used for our tour (Houston Tours) were literally a block away. Breakfast is served in the hotels signature restaurant, Toro Toro and I rank it one of top 3 breakfasts I’ve had in the 62 countries I’ve visited. Overall, a great place to stay, especially if you are going on a cruise from Galveston (as we are). Whoever is dealing with the staff in this hotel, well done. As a CEO myself it’s lovely to see happy and motivated colleagues.
