Reviews for Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District

We LOVE you, Zaza!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

When my husband had a last minute opportunity to spend the 4th holiday weekend not away, we knew we had to do a staycation at the Zaza. It’s our Houston home away from home. Daisy was the absolute best making sure every aspect of our stay was beyond expectations. From our upgraded suite to little details, the entire Zaza team made us feel so loved and celebrated. Wayne and I got married at Zaza in a small intimate ceremony in Fatal Charms in 2008. So the entire property holds a very special place in our hearts. Special shout out to Jose in Monarch who was just a joy to talk to giving us recommendations on local bars & lounges to check out. Congratulations on the Michelin Key!!! As foodies, we were super excited to meet the chefs and secretly sample and up and coming chicken slider. It was DELISH! Everyone at the pool on the 4th and Saturday were so helpful and friendly. It was nice to have a DJ & the passed adult freebies were a great addition. Housekeeping was absolutely on point and our room was spotless. Room service personnel were incredible as well. The Veuve & meat/cheese tray, as well as the HAPPY ANNIVERSARY cheesecake were above and beyond. Daisy was in communication daily and we absolutely cannot wait to come back! There’s been many positive changes to Zaza over the last 5-7 years and we are so happy to continue to be a part of the Zaza family! Until next time!

Stay away if you have asthma or dust allergies!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I tried spending the night at this hotel wih my family bet we could only stay for maybe 30 minutes!! Right from the lobby you could feel a mold smell. Due to her asthma, my wife is very sensitive to dust and mold so I could see her asthma starting to flare up as we went from the lobby to the room. Dusty hallways and room as well. My wife’s asthma flared up and we couldn’t stay the night. $400 down the drain. Wnt to spend the night at the Post Oak hotel which was amazingly clean. With our familly picking a hotel in a new town is always a hit or miss in this department. This one was a huge miss. Stay away if you or a family member has asthma or a respiratory illness.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar for snacks and late-night cocktails. The pool area was nice, if only the weather had cooperated.
