Omni Houston Hotel

This hotel wants to be top tier but fails. Not a great experience. Sheets were dirty (gritty stuff between the top and bottom sheets), only outlet by bed was on a lamp and it was broken, the tub was clogged, there was hair plastered on the back of the bathroom door, I had to ask the front desk 3 times for shampoo and finally got it on the last day of my stay; no one cleaned my room in my 3-nights stay (and I really needed sheets, shampoo, coffee supplies, etc), one of the elevators would stall out (the staff literally said it gets stuck sometimes - SO TAKE IT OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL IT’s REPAIRED), and there was a pointless “security” person on my floor who checked room keys when getting off the elevator to make sure you belonged there. What a mess. I will not go back.

Truly an oasis in crazy Houston; warm, inviting, welcoming, nice amenities, beautiful grounds, exceptional staff (Kaitlyn and Alex I'm looking at YOU!)

My daughter and I are local and had a staycation here before she turns double digits. Knowing we were there for her birthday, the staff treated her with so much attention and made her feel special. I can't say enough about how enjoyable the trip was. We spent most of our time at the pool, ate on site, and ordered room service for breakfast. We will definitely be back, and may even get a resort pass for the pool as locals.

The staff were some of the most kind and courteous hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We had mobility challenged family members with us and the staff could not have been any kinder and helpful to us and them.

This hotel is impressive. I was there on a weekend. they had weddings & activities every day, so much much to see happy people at their lobby. Never felt overwhelmed or crowded. NEVER heard noise in my room. The staff is super friendly. the hotel is very clean. My room was spacious, clean & bed/pillows very comfortable. I slept thru the night. Overall, this hotel was excellent!!
