Unforgettable Birthday Retreat
My husband surprised me with a night at The Post Oak Hotel for my birthday, even though we live in a suburb of Houston. I was blown away with the top tier hospitality and eye for detail throughout the hotel! Every aspect of our stay was comfortable, refined, elegant, and memorable. From the plush bedding to the delicious welcome tray of French delicacies from the patisserie downstairs, no detail was forgotten. This was a birthday I will never forget!

Top shelf hotel. Highly appointed rooms, spa, fitness room and pool. The staff are very attentive. Good for meetings and celebrations.

Not worth the money
Very friendly hotel staff. Suite was not worth the money ($1200 an night) and I had to call Amex to get them to honor the fine hotel and resorts upgrade benefit.

Nice decor outweighed by significant issues
Wonderful decor & comfortable beds. It’s one of Houston’s newer hotels but the property is well appointed. However, there are issues. The history of illegal activity is still present. I’m sure every hotel has some issues but their illegal activity is out in the open, almost as if the people & hotel are flaunting it. The only bar open after 10pm is filled with “workers”; not something I want to be surrounded by. Service is poor. Valet lost my car, there was an insect in food I ordered from room service, and housekeeping came into the room when we didn’t request them. The team doesn’t seem to communicate well and be on the same page. Great overall property but the way it’s managed is a disappointing. I’ve stayed here a few times over the last 2 yrs and it hasn’t seemed to improve. There’s always some service issue that you wouldn’t expect at such a property and then there’s the illegal activities. I won’t be coming back.

Top Tier Service
If you want a luxurious experience that is second to none, definitely chose The Post Oak Hotel! We celebrated my significant others birthday and the entire hotel staff ensured it was a memorable experience. We stayed in the Executive Suite (Concierge level) and I highly recommend, endless amenities. Every request was met, from top level, corner suite, to much more. Definitely will stay here in the future!
