The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston

I’ve stayed at the top rated hotels in Paris, Geneva, London, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Singapore and most large cities in North America in the past three years. Nothing comes close to the Post Oak in terms of facilities, food and, most importantly, the service. The Post Oak is the best of the best !!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was beyond unacceptable. The customer service was terrible, and I feel this place cannot be trusted. While a staff member was delivering ice and water to my room, my very expensive watch was sitting on the counter right next to where the ice bucket was placed. Moments later, my watch was gone. I immediately reported it, but the hotel refused to take responsibility, offered no real help, and made no effort to reimburse me for the loss. This situation was extremely disappointing and concerning. Guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their own room, and that clearly was not the case here. Because of how poorly this was handled, I would never recommend staying here and will absolutely never return

The Uptown Post Oak is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The staff is committed to ensuring guests have the best experience; and their attention to detail is excellent. I recently stayed at another 5 diamond hotel with a Michelin rating and the Uptown Post Oak is far superior even without the Michelin rating. I'd recommend staying for one night for the experience alone.

The hotel is worth the nightly room rate. Service is impeccable, from the front desk to room service. Hotel is beautiful and is simply luxurious. AmEX FHR benefit were clearly explained. They delivered a welcome gift of snacks to my room with a lovely note. Everything. is top notch and I would not hesitate to return if I had reason to be in Houston.

This place is amazing! It's a real treat to stay here. Worth every penny and will be back. Literally the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.
