The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing weekend stay at this hotel! From the moment we checked in, Shumaila made us feel so welcome. She was incredibly attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. We were visiting for business, and while my husband was working, Shumaila took the time to help me plan my weekend and recommended some wonderful places to visit. One of her best recommendations was the Butter Cake at Mastro’s, it was honestly the best cake I’ve ever had! The house car service was also outstanding. They drove us to our dinner, and the entire experience was seamless, professional, and very convenient. Thank you, Shumaila, for your exceptional hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was beautiful and a staff amazing. Went to the spa and had a great treatment, but the spa required a 22% tip. I was 16% of the tip went to my provider and the other eight went to the hotel. I’m not sure what the hotel did to deserve an 8% tip. they also wanted extra tip above that for the rest of the ladies in the spa. I’ve never encountered that at a hotel spa before.

This was my second time staying here and service was excellent as always. From room service to dining service it was all wonderful! The only thing this place needs to improve on is valet. We would text in advance, and even after giving them 15 minutes when we had gotten downstairs, we had to wait an additional 10 to 20 minutes for the car. Otherwise, would love to stay here again and again.
