The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston

My husband and I recently stayed with you to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. One concern we did want to share occurred shortly after we arrived. While we were in our room getting settled and preparing to change for the evening, a staff member opened our door and entered the room, simply saying, “Bar check.” We understand there may have been a communication issue and that she may not have realized we had already checked in. However, having someone unexpectedly enter our room was very off-putting and made us uncomfortable, particularly given that we were getting ready to change clothes. Thankfully, this did not define our overall stay, but it was not the initial experience we expected and felt it was important to bring it to your attention. We otherwise truly enjoyed our celebration and appreciated the hospitality throughout our stay.

Beautiful hotel very opulent has lost its personal touch with people and the entertainers and luminaries they host. I usually stay or used to stay because I felt safe seeing and accommodated. Now it’s overpriced in the staff particularly HR waitresses are very rude.

One of the FINEST hotels in the WORLD. Service was beyond exceptional. The only hotel to stay at in Houston. Katherine and Sylvian from Guest Relations and Director of Bars went above and beyond.

The Post Oak is one of the best hotels in Houston. The service is fabulous and amenities are top of the line. Great place for the money.
