Nice infrastructure but too crowded and uncaring hotel staff
I’m here now. Hotel is a nice building and the rooms are nice. Hotel is over-crowded and perhaps the hotel is understaffed but they don’t seem to care at all about their guests. Check in was weird because I arrived at 4:45 PM and our room wasn’t ready. The person at the desk didn’t seem to apologize or care. The manager did give us a hotel credit but given that we are here for 1 night and already have a free breakfast it is unlikely that we’ll use it. Then this evening I realized that my son’s bag had a zip tie on it. I went to the front desk and asked if they had scissors. It was the same lady as the check in and she looked in 2 drawers and then said that they didn’t have any. I stated at a crummy airport hotel last night and they tried harder to get me a pair of scissors. She sent me to the restaurant check in stand to see if they had scissors. That lady looked at me like I was an idiot and told me to check with the front desk. I eventually asked her if she could at least get me a knife. She did but it was definitely not the tool for the job. In the process of opening the bag I stabbed my hand. Now I’m sitting in the room bleeding and wondering if I should go to the hospital or bleed on the nice comforter. I’m sure none of the hotel staff would care either way. :-(

I just wanted to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to AJ in the valet team. Seriously, she goes above and beyond! From the moment I pulled up, AJ greeted me with a genuine, welcoming smile and an amazing attitude that instantly brightened my day. She was incredibly helpful, super fast, and made the whole process effortless. You can tell she really cares about doing a great job and treating people right. Hands down, AJ is the absolute best worker on the team—if you’re getting your car valeted, you'd be lucky to have her handle it!
