Reviews for The Whitehall

Good hotel, nice staff, parking needs to be improved.

It’s a pretty hotel on the outside but the rooms need to be renovated. Services were good and the employees are friendly. The only downside is the parking. There’s no self-parking therefore they only have valet parking which makes it difficult since you have to pay extra for it.

Nadia is the best bartender I ever had. If I’m ever in Houston I will try to drink where she is at.

My Go-To Hotel from Now ON

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This hotel was such a good stay I almost don’t want to tell anyone, because I want it to remain a secret. Just off the beaten path in downtown Houston enough to be convenient for friends who live locally to drive to my hotel to pick me up for dinner, and the giant covered parking pull-thru is an excellent touch. The restaurant, the patio bar, the pool, the lobby, literally every common area of this hotel looks stunning and is a good atmosphere. The room I got was a bit dated; I think the aesthetic is a bit traditional. The windows to the view could be cleaned, they were pretty clouded with pollen at the bottom. HOWEVER- the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept on in SO LONG. The pillows were so good I had to pull back the pillowcase to find the tag and research how I could buy a set for myself at home. (Spoiler alert: You can and I did!) I was in town for work and stayed a few extra days to see friends and family (I’m originally from Houston 😎) and my boss was pretty jealous of my hotel when he saw pics heard how good the bar was. Made a nice buddy with the bartender No Way Jose!
