About the Hotel

Built in the style of an ancient Thai village, Anantara Resort & Spa Hua Hin is a fine reflection of the town’s royal roots. In the 1920s, Rama VI and Rama VII built summer residences here to escape Bangkok’s stifling heat, and it’s still a seaside destination for aristocracy. Anantara’s interpretation is embellished with rich hardwoods, Thai silks and private balconies or terraces where guests can preside in peace over their exotic terrain.

Beautiful landscape and environment.. lots of activities for the kids too . The downside is the buffet breakfast priced at 900baht and yet the selection was way too few..

Lovely hotel with great staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I stayed 7 nights BB with my adult daughter. We did upgrade to a club room on arrival. Grounds and hotel are lovely, nice room with good amenities. Every member of staff was lovely, helpful, kind and professional. Our room was always kept clean and refreshed. We ate in both restaurants, the Thai is exceptionally good. The resort was very quiet (low season) so getting reservations and the shuttle bus was never a problem. There is a little farm with some animals and a very kind farm manager, all kept very clean and well looks after. We did some of the hotel activities - sunrise stretch and pottery painting (it isn’t pottery it’s picture painting!) I used the gym 3 times, it’s very small, more than 4 people and it feels very congested. The resort is quite a way out of the town centre so you’ll need transport to get anywhere. The only thing we didn’t like and didn’t realise, because we booked through an agent, is that the hotel is dog friendly, not just little dogs, Labradors and fluffy dogs in strollers. Although they had to be kept on a lead we didn’t particularly like sitting next to tables with dogs at breakfast, the dogs were given food and bowls of water ON the tables and i watched a woman rubbing her dogs tummy with a linen napkin - the same one someone would have been using the next day to wipe their mouth. I can’t see how with temperatures in the mid 30’s it was much fun for dogs and whilst I like dogs, I don’t really like being on holiday and sharing mealtimes with them. If I had known I probably wouldn’t have chosen the hotel, which is a bit sad as it’s lovely

Family Time at Anantara Hua Hin

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My stay at Anantara Hua Hin was a wonderful mix of relaxation and activity. The resort itself is beautiful, with lush grounds, a peaceful atmosphere, and well-maintained facilities. I joined several of the complimentary activities, including yoga, pickleball, and Muay Thai. While all were enjoyable, the standout experience for me was the Muay Thai class conducted by Pooh. He was engaging, encouraging, and made the session both fun and challenging, regardless of fitness level. The resort offers a great balance between leisure and wellness, making it suitable for families, couples, and solo travellers alike. Overall, a memorable stay, and I would happily return.

Great atmosphere and amenities. Coach K. Pooh is friendly and very capable, from pickle ball, rock climbing, to archery -- he got it all!
