Built in the style of an ancient Thai village, Anantara Resort & Spa Hua Hin is a fine reflection of the town’s royal roots. In the 1920s, Rama VI and Rama VII built summer residences here to escape Bangkok’s stifling heat, and it’s still a seaside destination for aristocracy. Anantara’s interpretation is embellished with rich hardwoods, Thai silks and private balconies or terraces where guests can preside in peace over their exotic terrain.

Located directly on the beach a short (too far to walk) distance from the town centre this hotel definitely has the "WOW" factor. Designed in a modern but traditional Siamese style everything about it is so appealing. Magnificent entrance and reception area, delightful gardens, fabulous swimming pool, great restaurants, excellent facilities for a restful and fulfilling holiday. Our seaview room was fantastic, large very comfortable bed, quality linen, stylish decor and furnishings and a breathtaking view. Breakfast is a joyful experience and each member of staff we met added extra value by their courtesy and efficiency. Our second visit won't be our last, already looking forward to returning.

Nice and helpful staff. Variety of activities with good coaches. Stunning view. Quiet, good for city escape. Clean renovated room.

Perhaps our mistake was staying at the Anantara Chiang Mai immediately prior to our stay at Anantara Hua Hin. There is no comparison with the quality of service or facilities for a similar price point : - no Members welcome, benefit or upgrade; - the room was a major let down, despite booking a king garden view 9 months out (due to accessibility) we ended up with a ridiculously huge two queen beds pushed together - just not a room you wanted to spend time in; - no day bed - just 2 uncomfortable wooden chairs; - rooms not cleaned until after 4pm making it difficult to relax after lunch when one wants a shower and a nanna nap; - resort is totally not accessible - a ramp up to reception (or at least a handrail) is required; and a lift is required from the lobby area to the breakfast level (stairs are steep, dangerous and downright scary). Overall we felt we stayed 2 days too long! On the upside we loved Rocky and the beautiful lush gardens.

We had an incredible stay at Anantara Hua Hin Resort. The service was top-notch from start to finish, with the staff providing exceptionally helpful recommendations that made our trip memorable. The rooms are impressively spacious, offering plenty of comfort and a relaxed atmosphere. A special highlight was the bath products—the shower gel, body lotion, and toiletries were outstanding quality with fantastic scents. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hua Hin!
