fabulous hotel , stunning grounds . the staff were wonderful ,nothing to much trouble, the Manager Jan always checking on the guests to make sure we were having a loverly stay. Ideally situated for town centre and all amenities.Have to mention Best on concierge desk sorted us dinasaurs out with Bolt (local taxi service). And of course Khun Petch greeting you with his warm smile.

Recently stayed at Centara Grand and had a very positive experience overall. Before the trip, I contacted the hotel via Facebook Messenger to confirm EV charging availability, as this was important for our stay. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the charging area was temporarily unavailable due to construction work nearby. What impressed me was how professionally the hotel handled the feedback. The management team responded quickly, took the issue seriously, and clearly made a genuine effort to improve the situation. Throughout the stay, the staff were consistently warm, polite, and attentive. I especially appreciated the service mindset of the team. Operational issues can happen anywhere, but the way a hotel responds makes all the difference — and in this case, the response left a very positive impression on us. Overall: * Excellent and friendly staff * Strong attention to guest feedback * Professional management response * Comfortable stay and very good hospitality Despite the inconvenience with the EV charging area, the overall experience was positive enough that we would happily return again in the future.

This is the 11th time over 9 years that I've stayed at this great resort & it still maintains the highest standards it had back in 2015 when I first stayed there. The service you get from the staff (stars as the GM calls them) from the lobby, restaurants, cleaners, bell boys & the pools are excellent. The stars are very friendly, attentive all the time and are willing to help if you have any problems or just to find a certain shop downtown. The great breakfast in the Railway Restaurant is one big smorgasbord & there is plenty of food for everyone. If you have a special request the Chefs & the stars will help you out if they can. The Centara Club, Coast Beach Club & the Museum Coffee & Tea Corner restaurants are great with fresh meals, snacks & drinks throughout the day. The house keeping stars restock the spacious rooms, dust, change the sheets, towels & sweep the floor each day. The pools & the gym are clean & are ready to be used throughout the day. The garden stars maintain these great gardens & you have plenty of areas to sit & to relax in. The Songkran festival held in the grounds of the resort were fantastic with great music & food. All the areas of the resort being renovated at this time are fenced off & the noise & tradesmen didn't bother us at all. I would like to mention the GM "Jan" who is a very busy man but always makes you feel welcome & finds the time to walk around & talk to guests during the day.

Down from Bangkok for a weekend stay. Traffic wasn’t as bad as many people say, when you out of Bangkok it runs smooth. We made it in 3 1/2 hours on a Friday, consider this as good ride. We know that the property is under renovation as mentioned while booking direct. Honestly if you know you are already prepared what to expect. It all depends what the workers doing, it’s noticeable but didn’t disturb us. We stayed in the newly renovated wing and were impressed with the new designed rooms, especially bathrooms and new mattresses. Really great sleeping comforts. Used Coast for dinner one night and enjoyed the table close to the ocean. Very romantic atmosphere. We also had some drinks in the new created Rajapruek Lounge - in the middle of the Garden Wing - this place also serves the drinks around the pool close by. Loved our stay and will for sure return as based in Bangkok. It’s such a different feel and so close to the capital. Thanks to the Centara team.

Back at Centara Grand and this year we are back in the newly renovated Garden Wing. They did a wonderful job with keeping the colonial features overthere. Bathroom is modern and spacious with separate shower and toilet. Other parts of the hotel are now under construction but it doesn't affect our holiday at all. We are curious about the completing of all renovations next Year. All staff around are wonderful and will look after you with great dedication. GM Jan is doing an excellent job with his busy schedule for the construction. He still takes time to chat with the guests and managing his staff. The Centara hotel wouldn't be the same without his friendly appearance.
