Movenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

Spent 11 nights at the Movenpick staying in a Junior Suite Pool view King. Room was very spacious and fully met our needs. We booked through Luxury Escapes on a half board / drinks package, which worked well for us. Played golf at Springfield, Pineapple, Black Mountain and Palm Hills, which we very much enjoyed. Thank you to Hua Hin golf for organising. The staff were very pleasant and a particularly shout out to Sky who mixed our drinks and made our stay pleasurable. We used the Hotel shuttle bus on a couple of occasions, although a taxi only cost 200 bhat. Weather in Hua Hin in February is fantastic. Hotel fully met our needs and contributed to a great holiday. Mövenpick Hua Hin is not a typical high-rise resort, but rather a spacious garden property with individual villas that offer privacy and a relaxed, almost residential atmosphere. With two inviting pools, lush greenery throughout the grounds, and generous outdoor space, it feels less like a hotel complex and more like a tranquil retreat. From the moment of arrival, the tone was warm and attentive. The team created a calm, welcoming atmosphere that continued throughout the stay. Small gestures — thoughtful treats in the villa, a spa voucher, and consistently friendly service — made a genuine difference. A particular highlight is the visible leadership on property. The Front Office Manager, Paul, is present, approachable and clearly invested in both guests and team. You can feel when a hotel is well led — and here, that feeling is tangible. The villas themselves are charming and set within beautiful gardens. The property carries a certain established character, and while some structural details would benefit from continued investment and refinement, the overall atmosphere and hospitality clearly define the experience. I have shared a few maintenance observations privately with management and am confident they will be addressed. I travel extensively and have stayed in many international luxury hotels. What makes this property stand out is not spectacle, but sincerity and leadership. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxed, green and well-managed escape in Hua

We had a great stay at this beautiful oceanfront resort located close to HuaHin town. You can literally spend hours watching the waves and the open seas. The villas are comfortable and basically have everything you need. But all this would be meaningless if it wasn’t for the care and attention of the staff. In our case, we were lucky to have Khun Nook who got involved when we reported a small issue. She made sure it was addressed, we were well looked after and enjoyed what the resort has to offer. Thank you to Khun Nook and the rest of the front office staff as well as those on the beach bar and restaurant. Our stay was short but we look forward to being back.

Four nights at this very relaxing Asara Resort. The rooms and villas are around a very beautiful and well kept garden. Two large swimming pools and beautiful lagoons. Very quiet surroundings. The hotel is quite far away from Hua Hin city center. And there is not own sandy beach by the sea (a concrete platform separates the sea and the hotel pool area). The main pool area is nice, there is also a beach bar. Friendly service all over the resort. Everywhere the staff greets you cheerfully. Our Terrace Suite was spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. We had our own sun loungers on the terrace. But we paid attention that customers reserved the free sun loungers in the pool area very early in the morning. Small and modest gym but you can do your daily exercises in there. Breakfast was good and during the Chocolate Hour in the afternoon there was fruits and cakes available. Baan Dum thai restaurant was our favorite! Very tasty food and friendly and easy going service. We had dinners and lunch there.

Stayed for couple of night to experience the weekend events, Pool side saxophonist and art class near the sea very suitable for family fun
