this trip for celebrete BD trip. the room so nice, facing to to the pool and good vibes. staff very helpful dinner at Baandum is good also, yummy and good view. recommended for relax and enjoy with family. I will comeback again as they will going to be a pet friendly hotel!

This was my first time staying at Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin, and I had high expectations, especially since my partner, who was formerly a VP of FM in Movenpick, was invited to check stuff during the soft opening of this very property. We were both excited to finally experience it as guests. To begin with the positives, we truly appreciated the complimentary villa upgrade. It was a kind gesture and made us feel welcomed. The villa itself was spacious and private, offering a promising start to our stay. However, several aspects of our experience fell far below the standard expected of a 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the gate to our villa broken, the outdoor lights not functioning, and the absence of pool towels. The private pool was not clean and was filled with leaves, and inside the room, we were greeted by a swarm of mosquitoes—hardly the welcome one hopes for in a luxury setting. The service throughout the stay was unfortunately inconsistent. The bar staff appeared overstretched, with one bartender also acting as the waiter, which led to our drink orders being incorrect four separate times. Moreover, the reception staff were noticeably unhelpful. We had an issue with our taxi, and despite our visible difficulty, no one offered assistance in communicating with the non-English-speaking driver. At checkout, I was surprised when I wasn’t allowed to take the hotel slippers with me, especially since I had used them during our stay. This raised concerns for me—would these be reused for another guest? It seemed unhygienic and unusual for a property of this category. Other disappointments included the state of the main pool, which had multiple cracks and a separate exposed water pump machine. This not only detracted from the aesthetic but also raised safety concerns, particularly for families with children. In all honesty, the overall experience felt more in line with a 2-3 star property rather than the 5-star standard Mövenpick is known for. While the setting and initial impression of the villa were lovely, the lack of maintenance, poor staff training, and inadequate service left us disheartened. I genuinely hope the management takes these comments constructively, as the resort has so much potential but is currently not meeting the expectations associated with its name and rating.

The room was very nice and cozy, with warm and inviting decor that made us feel right at home. The swimming pool was incredible, offering stunning sea views. The service at the reception was excellent, especially the warm welcome from Khun Time and the lovely farewell from Khun Nook. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We are having a wonderful time at the hotel. There’s a lot of wild life at the hotel which you can hear all the time 🤩 The pool is good and perfect temperature! Really kind and service minded staff members and especially Joey is helping us a lot ..:)
