Relaxed

Very relaxed resort. Limited distractions for people with itchy feet; great place for those who want to put their feet up and chill.

We had a most enjoyable stay. The hotel is beautifully designed in an exceptional location. The staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. It is quieter than some resorts, but that suited us well. The food and drinks were plentiful and of good quality. The buffet had mostly Oaxacan dishes, but there were speciality nights (Italian, barbecue etc.) to offer variety. Everything ran smoothly. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful resort

I'd give it closer to 4.5 stars. Resort and grounds are well maintained and beautiful. Beach was incredible with soft golden sand. Surf is somewhat strong but swimmable. Pool is lovely though could perhaps be cleaner. Food was excellent but they don't have a lot of different cuisine choices. That was fine by us as they did Mexican food really well. The food was consistently fresh and tasty. The service was excellent, we thank all the staff for making our stay so happy and memorable. Only minor qualm was the double beds...just felt small, queens would be better. Also the room should be vacuumed rather than swept. Patio sliding door in our room was quite heavy...kids won't be able to move it but that can be a good thing. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!! I would definitely recommend and return here.

Wonderful stay, would definitely return

We loved the location, the views, the spaciousness of the bathroom and the bedroom, the balcony and how nice all the employees were. The hotel is very nice and feels big enough but also not huge. We loved the huge pool and that it is a single depth. The things that we did not love: The food was pricey and good but not great, there are other places to eat nearby or downtown. We would get small water bottles in our room but nobody told us (until we asked) that they were complementary. The pillows had thick fabric covers (almost felt like upholstery) that we didn't like. Our mini fridge was not working well. We would have liked a coffee maker in the room and a screen mesh to keep mosquitoes out when opening the balcony door. Some areas of the pool felt slippery, likely due to algae or mold. Our bathroom was leaking a little from the sink and the toilet tank. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the small cons did not bother us too much.

The Stay was good overall, the Hotel room still not at the 5 Star levels, some parts of the building are quite olé and Need to berefurbished.
