About the Hotel
Set on a two and a half-hectare site with 200 metres of frontage on the fabled Perfume River, Azerai La Residence, Hue has 122 rooms & suites. The colonial mansion at the heart of the resort was built in 1930s as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure. The mansion’s distinctive façade, its long horizonal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmark of the streamline moderne school of art deco architecture. Its two complementary wings, built in 2005, are contemporary in design yet echo elements of art deco aesthetics and embrace an expansive tropical garden and salt-water swimming pool.

Superb
Our stay was absolutely amazing. Everything was fantastic. Although we did not eat at the restaurant but the breakfast was very nice with a variety to choose from and all fresh. All the staff were amazing but a special thanks goes to Hao, Nhi, Giang and Huy. I will definitely come back.

Service & Comfort in 1930s Splendour
From the front door and desk to the pool, restaurant & bar, you’ll be very well looked after here. I slept in the comfiest bed and had the most relaxing massage of all time while taking in the amazing 1930s splendour.

To good to leave
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Architecturally beautiful. Art Deco style designed to the finest degree. Then you have the staff who surpass the hotel’s beauty with their willingness, efficiency and most importantly - friendliness. The food is excellent and the position is central to everything.

Great food and service with beautiful garden
Great location, 5mins walk to railway station, great crew everyone is well trained and helpful, you can feel there teamwork as the customer don’t have to ask anything twice even with different crew. Highly recommend the restaurant, great food and great service with decent price. When I left Huy was very nice and helped with our luggage to the main road when he heard we would walk to the railway station. Overall a place I will definitely recommend to everyone.

Imperial Hotel in Imperial Hue!
Myself and my family had an amazing stay at Azerai La Residence in August 2026. What a hotel! Amazing art deco architecture, spotlessly clean, lovely and polite staff, superb big pool, great breakfast and beautiful rooms - with a turn down service! Great value for the standard of hotel too, highly recommend for anyone staying in Hue.
