Azerai La Residence, Hue

Luxurious hotel with top-notch service. We stayed for two nights while exploring the Nguyen Dynasty tombs, temples and palaces. Despite the fact it rained the entire time, we had a wonderful omfortable stay at the hotel. The service was the best we experienced in. Vietnam. The breakfasts and dinners in the hotel restaurant are delicious and authentic. We can’t recommend this hotel enough for travelers to Hue.

This hotel is amazing. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the pool and the bar staff they were also great. We only ate breakfast which was another fantastic experience. Would return if we ever make our way back to Hue.

It’s unusual to experience hotels with vision and charm. La Residence so faithfully captures the architecture of the original, even down to the latches on the French doors in the old building. And this flows on to the floors and into the rooms. The other low-rise buildings link cleverly to each other and sit around lawns, plantings and a large L- shaped pool. If this were not enough, La Residence should be a foody destination. The chef, Mr Dông Hai, put up 5 star plates on the three consecutive nights we ate there. As for the charm, that comes from the people who work there. It’s an easy, warm charm: seems to come naturally from Tam, Moon and Phuong who offered to go the extra 2 miles with organising sites to see and fixing travel hassles. That was also true of the other staff we met. Such a place!

We stayed at Azerai la residence for 4 days this month. We travel constantly and this hotel is one of the very best I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were spacious. Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. But what made this hotel spectacular was the wonderful people working at the hotel. The most wonderful of all these excellent people was Ms. Moon who heads the Conceirge service. I’ve never meet someone like her at any hotel. She is so nice and helpful and always has a big smile. We were so spoiled by her and the team that when we checked into another hotel chain in Hanoi, I almost flew back to Hue just to spend more time with the wonderful people at Azerai. If you have a chance to stay at this hotel, I strongly recommend it. And thanks everyone at Azerai for letting us experience what exceptional service and wonderful facilities are really like.

The Hotel is in a convenient location. The Hotel room is very new and of high standard. The bed and cushions were comfortable. The bathroom is too standard. The pool and gardens are Devine. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff is so welcoming that you feel immediately home. The little treats delivered to the rooms for the evening and the available coffee and sweets during the day in the lobby are amazing. It’s a very clean, calm, environmentally friendly place. You must try.
