Great experience, I strongly recommend this hotel for family. Besides it is well located (close to many hotspots such as beaches, airports, attractions)

Make sure there are no weddings or conventions happening…

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We chose this hotel based on previous recommendations but are deeply regretting that decision. After five full days at Disneyland, we wanted to come to a nice hotel to relax and enjoy some well earned downtime . However, downtime has not been possible. The first night around dinner time after enjoying a pool cabana, we came up to our room to sit on our patio and enjoy a nice glass of wine and watch the ocean views but that was impossible as there was a wedding of at least 500 people outside of our room. Fun to watch for the first five minutes (their sarees were stunning!) however it was extremely loud and couldn’t hear ourselves think! We called down to request a room change to a quieter area of the resort, to which they happily accommodated. Definitely a pain and a disruption to have to pack up and move but it is what it is. The new room seemed just as decent as the first room, clean and comfortable and the partial ocean view was lovely. We were feeling super annoyed that we weren’t informed prior to our stay that there would be a wedding disrupting our quiet as we would have changed hotels and locations entirely but it is what it is. Today however was the icing on the cake!!! This afternoon we got back to our (new) room and they’re currently setting up for yet another wedding with a DJ booth! Disneyland Hotel and grounds were quieter than this hotel (and it is not quiet there!) for the price you’re paying I feel that there are better options out there. The service at the pool was wonderful, the staff all so nice and accommodating. We ate dinner at the steakhouse and the service from the sommelier was phenomenal! The only advice I have is if you plan on staying here is make sure there are no weddings or conventions happening because it will definitely disrupt your stay if you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind. I understand that that’s how they make their money with conventions and weddings but the normal paying customer shouldn’t have to pay full price and sacrifice their enjoyment in lieu of other people’s events! Beyond disappointing! Next year after our annual Disney trip we will be looking for a new area and hotel to relax.

Not worth the price. Rooms are old and overall not a luxurious stay. Staff is decent but the property doesn't command 500+ a night.
