beautiful place right next to the beach! And the staff really make this place more special--they are very attentive and helpful, and happy! The vibe is very positive!

We stayed for one night only, but since I’m a Globalist member, we were upgraded to an ocean-view room within the same room category I originally reserved. I also asked the front desk if it would be possible to upgrade to a larger room, but since it was Memorial Day weekend, the hotel was fully booked and already at capacity. At the same time, I inquired about a late checkout, but the front desk agent explained that it might not be possible for the same reason. The room itself was a typical king-bed room, but we absolutely loved the view overlooking the pool and the ocean. One of the highlights for us was the dedicated footbridge that made it very easy and convenient to spend time at the beach. We spent most of our day at the Slyder pool area, which is geared toward kids, and we had such a fun time there. Breakfast was amazing as well. We especially loved the made-to-order omelette station at the breakfast buffet, which we happily took advantage of. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be returning in the future.

Hyatt Huntington Beach was an excellent stay. I can't say anything but good things about it! The room was completely spotless and very comfortable with great amenities. Quiet building. Staff were all very attentive and overly friendly. The check-in/out was smooth, easy. This hotel is very ideal. A+ Experience! Highly recommend.

This property has been my favorite Hyatt property in SoCal for its unbeatable location and the beautiful ocean view. The room is a bit outdated but very clean. Breakfast is great with both order menu and buffet. I love the short rib hash, meat is so tender. Very friendly staff from valet to front desk to housekeeping team. Valet is very fast considering it’s so busy during memorial weekend. It’s kind of inconvenient that I cannnot access my car during the stay. If you need something from your car, someone from the valet has to get it for you or bring the car to you then you get it yourself. The only thing to improve is the attention to customer notes before approval. We booked a suite and a regular room and requested connecting rooms multiple times, but still ended up with rooms across from each other. I also left notes about special occasions and that was overlooked. When I provided feedback to the hotel, they apologized but no action is offered. Though they are very busy, this could have been a better stay.

Your room will cost $45 more per night than what you book it for. There is an unavoidable 'activity' charge because they have a pool. This cost appears on the bill at check out and is not discussed when booking ot at check in.
