Perched on the promenade facing the old city center, the view from Adriana, Hvar Spa Hotel, Croatia's first member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World, combines the Cathedral, the Arsenal, the Venetian piazza, and the bay all in one sweep of the eyes. Completely renovated as a stylish luxury hotel and spa, Adriana's amenities are as diverse as its view, making it a perfect place to relax, renew, and rejoice. The luxurious Sensori Spa offers therapeutic and esthetic treatments, massage, and a wide range of programs. The rooftop terrace features a heated, indoor/outdoor seawater pool and a spectacular sky bar and lounge area. At the Adriana, it is easy to see why Conde Nast Traveler rated Hvar as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world.

This is one of the better hotels we stayed on this trip. Just wish we'd had more than just two nights here! It's right in the center and walkable everywhere. Only thing is it's not on a beach front - the closed pebble beach is about 10 min walk away. But the hotel has a fantastic spa, large sauna with a picture window view, and a big enough indoor pool good for lap swimming and lots of lounge chairs both inside and on a terrace outside. Room is not big without much walking or stretching space. But it's comfortable enough with a fantastic shower. We were on the 5th floor and had a view of the bay and street down below although just a bit obstructed on one side but still nice. Breakfast on the terrace is such a treat - good thing also you get your own tea here so don't have to wait and they have this fancy teapot that sits on a big round cup.

Overall, a nice day. However, I did not like the bathroom layout and I ran into the glass shower door in the middle of the night…ouch. I also didn’t like how the blow dryer was fixed in a closet not within the bathroom. Gym was small and basic but totally fine. Indoor pool was nice even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Great location. Breakfast was fine though they didn’t change it up very much and they seemed be short staffed. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. The staff were very kind.

Our stay at Adriana was incredible! Great location and fantastic service - they offer bag assistance to and from the ferry. Check-in was a pleasure, and we were greeted with free champagne!! Nikolaus & Antonio were so helpful & sweet, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was stress-free & that we were well taken care of. The included breakfast was delicious and the views from the room did not disappoint! Can’t wait to come back!

I came in, feeling achy and sore after walking dozens of miles all over Croatia, climbing endless stairs and catching a bit of a cold. This massage was life-changing. Mario was so skilled; one of the best massage therapists I’ve had. My neck, back, arms, legs, knees, hands, feet, hips, everything felt so much better afterward. Absolutely recommend. Wish I had time to stay and enjoy the sauna and other spa amenities included! Beautiful location, right on the water, too.
