Reviews for Adriana, Hvar Spa Hotel

Nice staff and ideal location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The hotel is in a lovely location, accessible from the ferry drop off, and made even more accessible by the porters who meet you to transport your luggage! We had an incredible sea view from our room, which was unbeatable, as was the view from the rooftop terrace and the outdoor breakfast every morning. The breakfast served daily was really nice and offered a lot of options. The spa and sauna had overall lovely facilities, and the indoor pool was lovely but cold! The staff was very nice and accommodating, though we did run into a few issues with staff confusion around what menus could be ordered from at different times. The most disappointing part of the stay was the room itself which left very little space to move around, outdated furniture, old slightly stained linens and a small bathroom, set up in such a way that the whole floor got soaked anytime you turned the shower on (this seems to be a common theme across other reviews). If you won’t be spending much time in your room this will probably suit you fine, but if you plan to take things a little slower, you may prefer an alternative option, purely due to the room itself.

Gorgeous

Spent three nights here recently and really enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect. Our luggage was taken at the ferry and it is a very short walk to the hotel. Hotel is lovely. Modern and comfortable with lovely sea views from our room. The room was on the small side particularly with a cot for our baby and the buggy. This was the biggest downside of the hotel for us but no big deal really. The pool and spa area was fab with lots of loungers outside. It was always very quiet when we were there in April. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of selection from buffet as well as a good selection of egg dishes, pancakes, waffles and porridge that could be ordered. The outside terrace was a really lovely place to sit. The staff were all so lovely and so nice our baby, making her smile and going out of their way to be.helpful. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and were sad to be leaving. Highly recommend.

Room could have been better

This is on a beautiful island and is a great location by the water. I'm giving it a 3 because the bathroom layout was not great. The hairdryer was attached to a wall inside the closet and was also next to the entrance door to the room. So you had to stand next to the closet to do your hair and the closet door had to be open since the dryer was screwed into it wall. It was awkward. In the shower, the rain shower head would come on even though we selected using the wand. So we'd have wet hair when we didn't want it. The bathroom was small too. Our room had a view of another house with trash on the ground since our room was next to a rock wall. Some others in our group had balconies. Our room didn't. That said the breakfast was good and there was a wonderful roof top terrace. The terrace had great views of the marina esp. at night.
