Amfora, Hvar Grand Beach Resort

Absolutely amazing view from the balcony overlooks the resort and the beautiful Adraitoc Sea!! The room was quite small, though tidy!! The resort is nice and the private beach is pretty, though be sure to bring your water shoes!! Lunch by the pool is recommended. The terrace overlooking the property and sea is also a nice place to relax during your stay here!! The Old Town is a bit of a walk away, but it is easy to traverse, and great to come back to the splendor that is Amfora!!

We enjoyed our stay but the hotel is getting tired unfortunately. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary (after being married at the same hotel 10 years ago) and to be honest, the decoration and quality hadn't improved since then. Customer service was average at best, very impersonal. The gym was awful, none of the machines worked. very disappointing for the amount of money we spent staying there. Unfortunately, the hotel hasn't replied to our direct feedback.

The hotel was nice, but not amazing. Having the large pool and the location was fab. What was disappointing was the room size - we had been upgraded to a shoe box. Yes the balcony was bigger but the room was tiny! Wish we hadn’t been as we went to a friends room and they had alot more space, sofa dressing table etc. The breakfast was OK. I wouldn’t stay here again I don’t think if visiting Hvar.

This was one of the best stays ever. The penthouse is amazing, views are stunning, service is excellent and Ivan really made our pool experience top notch. He was the best. Thank you Ivan!

For this island, the Amphora is a great hotel. It is well maintained, has a great staff, nice pool, beach access for guests, and situated in a good location. Special shout out to Mark, Asst F&B Mgr at Cascade restaurant by the pool - you made our trip memorable! The breakfast buffet was ok - dinner buffet, not so much. Rooms were a bit small, but that’s how it is here.
