Riva Yacht Harbour Hotel

We stayed at Riva Marina as a family, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Croatia trip. I actually booked this hotel based on a recommendation from ChatGPT, so it was a bit of a leap of faith—and I’m so glad we did. Our first impression was mixed because the rooms are on the smaller side, and we were initially a little disappointed. However, within a few hours, everything changed. What makes this hotel truly special is its people. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely care about making your stay memorable. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast deserves a special mention—it was one of the best we had during our trip, with a fantastic selection and excellent quality. One of our favorite memories was watching the FIFA World Cup semifinal together with our family and the other guests. It created such a fun and friendly atmosphere that made us feel like part of a community rather than just visitors staying at a hotel. By the time we checked out, we had completely fallen in love with the place. We were genuinely sad to leave and only wished we had planned to stay a few more days. If you’re looking for a hotel with character, exceptional hospitality, and an unforgettable atmosphere right in the heart of Hvar, I would highly recommend Riva Marina.

From the moment we stepped off the ferry at Hvar we knew we were in for great service: even though the hotel is about a 1 minute walk from the boat, there was someone waiting to greet us and carry our bags. This is a smart hotel, but with a very casual, welcoming atmosphere, right on the main quay in Hvar. Beautiful situation. It is very well maintained and presented and all the staff were excellent: friendly, smiley, helpful, and they really made us feel special. Our room had a view over the quay and it was fascinating to watch the comings and goings of the yachts: big and small. The double glazing was really excellent and we heard nothing from the quay when it was busy. We had breakfast outside, on the terrace - a delightful mix of buffet (great choice) and cooked. Great way to start the day. This was a wonderful short stay in a really excellent hotel with perfect service. Thank you team - we loved it!

Visited this hotel to attend our sons wedding on the island June 26 . On arrival greeted with open and friendly staff . Room lovely clean , and the most comfortable beds I have had while away . Excellent breakfast , plenty of choices and the staff could not do enough for you. Unfortunately while there on the 3rd day my husband became unwell and the staff quickly got a paramedics to attend and at 04:30 the next morning he went to spilt where he was admitted to ITU. The staff at the hotel could not do enough to help and support me in anyway and always asked how he was . Fortunately he came out and we are on our way home despite missing his son’s wedding he still had a brilliant day . Highly recommend this hotel and great for people and boat watching while the sun comes down as excellent position

Awesome hotel - loved everything about it. Location was perfect and rooms were amazing. The Hemingway suite was perfect for our family of 4 with two teenagers. Staff was so friendly and helpful - would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to experience the best of Hvar!
