Breakfast was top notch, couldn’t think of anything else they could add, lovely that you can choose fresh eggs whichever way you like. Pool side, little slow with bringing the towels around, could do with better service round the pool, hopefully this is increased as it gets warmer. Lovely cocktails and sunset at the rooftop bar. Gym is a decent size. All in all a decent stay and great location for some fabulous restaurants highly recommend Higo. Not sure which pool is heated and the outdoor one was freezing! We will be back

We especially booked this hotel for the heated outdoor swimming pool promised on their website at the time of booking; this was not the case when we arrived. The outdoor pools were freezing and not suitable for young children to swim in. The hotel is poorly managed and the spa is extremely dirty and not looked after; sauna ; steam rooms were all out of service. The managers did not seem to try and make the experience better for the mis selling either. Breakfast staff were friendly and made an effort. They were much better and hospitable.

We stayed at Aguas de Ibiza from 8th–16th October as a family of four with two young children, and unfortunately our experience was far from what you would expect from a five-star hotel. The most serious incident occurred in reception, where a large section of ceiling plasterboard fell directly in front of us, narrowly missing our two-year-old daughter. We were in shock, and our daughter was extremely upset. The manager was present and saw the situation unfold, yet no meaningful follow-up occurred afterwards. We were told the recent heavy rain had caused building damage, but the area where the ceiling fell had visible issues and should have been properly inspected and cordoned off before something actually collapsed. This was a major safety concern and left us feeling unsafe for the rest of our stay. We also experienced water dripping through the ceiling onto our 4-month-old baby’s head while she was napping near the door. She became very distressed and later unwell. Despite this, our wet bedding was not replaced, the room was not cleaned properly, and towels were not restocked. Housekeeping standards were far below those expected at this level. Another uncomfortable moment was when the manager approached my wife at breakfast — while she was feeding the baby and seated next to another guest — to ask how our stay was going. This was not an appropriate time or place for that conversation, especially after we had repeatedly asked at reception for a private discussion and were told the manager was unavailable. Reception staff initially told us that compensation would be provided due to the seriousness of the incidents. However, despite sending a detailed email after we left, we have received no response from management at all, which is extremely disappointing. On a positive note, many of the frontline staff were kind and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and Inez in the Kids Club was fantastic and truly made a difference during the wet mornings. Unfortunately, the combination of the safety risks, poor housekeeping, and lack of follow-up from management left us feeling that the hotel did not meet its five-star standards. This was our only holiday of the year, and it was not the experience we had hoped for.

I’ve just returned from a one week stay with my family (5 of us in total) across two junior suite pool view rooms. I was exceptionally nervous ahead of our trip as I read several negative reviews online and I was fearing the worst. However, I was extremely relieved and delighted by our experience at this hotel. So much so that I came away questioning the validity of the negative reviews I read. We found the staff to be warm, personable and going out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The breakfasts were superb - very fresh and tasty and were great choice and variety. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and with all the mod cons you could expect. It is true that the hotel needs some modernisation and investment in places to bring it back to its best but this is gentle tweaking and repair - particularly in the spa area. The rooftop area is a real wow moment - absolutely beautiful and the Peruvian restaurant is an absolute stand out. Completely delicious and the staff are wonderful. I don’t often feel compelled to leave reviews but felt I needed to, particularly to recognise the staff.
