A truly first class set up. Lovely rooms, great staff, amazing food/drinks, stunning grounds. This place has it all. Highly recommend!

Can Lluc is real gem in Ibiza’s countryside. Situated in San Rafael so easily within 16 minutes drive of Ibiza Town, the place feels authentically Ibizan. All the staff are dedicated and keen to ensure the guests are looked after and there is a quiet, discreet and relaxed atmosphere that you can tell is intrinsic to the place. You will have the best night’s sleep at Can Lluc because there is zero noise pollution, you will not even hear car motors out there, perhaps the only thing you’ll notice in the night is the hoot of exceptionally rare and small Scops-Owl. The food is absolutely excellent, I can recommend the lobster and egg speciality amongst others, breakfast is a dream, also the pizzas are very strong too. The pool area is where we spend much of our time and it has everything needed for the dedicated sun worshipper, from elevated beds that catch a little more breeze, to more low-key areas set back from the pool in the shade. There is also disabled access to the pool as one would expect of anywhere serious about their customers. I could continue but I’m out of time here. Stay at Can Lluc, you will not be disappointed! Kudos to the entire team.

Horrible room and pathetic service

Horrible room and pathetic service. The property might be nice but the room are really NOT confortable : the bed is very old and small, stuck to the AC which is a very old machine making loud noise (see pic) and the quality of the products (from the soap to the sheets) is really cheap. Adding to that, the furniture are tasteless. The WORST is that when we complained politely to the GM of the hotel (Mrs Tina, also owner’s wife), she replied : can you be quick because I have a meeting in 15min. What type of human decency & service is that ????!!! I have never experienced a GM and owner talking in such a manner to a client. As for Carmen, the receptionist, she is just useless…it is like she does not understand English, and each word she says is like an effort. We did not feel welcome in this hotel since the minute we arrived. They have NO sense of hospitality. I came here to rest and instead ended up not sleeping with an AC machine less than 1m away from my head making noise and dust, let alone feeling disrespected & scammed. This is not a 4 star hotel standard and the service is appalling. I don’t usually complain but given the rate this hotel has on google, I feel obliged to share my experience. It is important people know about this, especially the rude reaction of the owner of the place.

Bad service at this hotel.

The hotel setting is lovely and quiet however we did not have a positive experience at this establishment. On arrival we drove through the gates and past broken down play equipment, an old cubbyhouse, a disused table tennis table and rows of outdoor chairs and tables under repair. The check in was unsmiling and curt. No offer of a welcome drink and I had to lug my own bags to the room. The room was okay but a bit musty. There was no bar list so back to reception to ask for one. Beer was on the list but no beers in the fridge. Another visit to reception. We were finally brought olives and beers and the next afternoon the empty bottles and olive pips were still on our outdoor table. Morning coffee? Coffee machine but no coffee. The following day the room water bottles were left empty so no water. Apart from the lack of attention and basics we did feel that there was an off vibe. The reception lady was unsmiling and unapologetic and when the manager approached us she said that our room ‘hadn’t been used in a while so….’ the staff weren’t used to attending to that room! I am genuinely surprised at the previous reviews. Maybe families with young children staying in the villas have a different experience however we couldn’t wait to leave. We are now in Somni Ibiza and its the absolute opposite of can Lluc. The hotel is impeccably maintained and the staff are happy and professional.

A place of peace and calm with a beautiful layout for rooms, pool and restaurant

Had high hopes due to previous reviews and we had a great 4 nights here . Rooms are beautiful, breakfast is a real feast and there are plenty of loungers by the pool so no pressure to run to them to bag one before breakfast !! I had 2 massages both were very nice Staff were all very good The evening menu is a little unusual. Some simple ingredients just overly smothered in sauces etc . Lovely fresh veg don’t necessarily benefit from being covered in lots of things. Lunch offering is also unusually limited . A Caesar salad was solely loads of chopped salad with , a tablespoon, not an exaggeration, of micro pieces of chicken . Couldn’t taste the chicken at all as the pieces were so so tiny. At 23 euros it was crazy expensive . The artichoke was very tasty and the aubergine quite disappointing . Santa Gertrudis , 7 mins down the road has plenty of eating options . We would definitely stay again but would plan to have lunch out
