New Years ended up being one of our favorite trips to the Hyatt. The new casino manager really put SO MUCH EFFORT into helping guests make great memories. There were all kinds of events and even a photo person. It was actually wonderful. And as we made our way back to our room, we had cookies hanging on our doors. Everything was perfect. Thank you Hyatt Incline.

Horrible experience. Overpriced hotel with few options for dinning. Had to wait more than 1 hour for Dinner at the informal restaurants. For new years we could not get a seating arrangement despite the fact that there was space available. Would not go there again at high season. They are not prepared for So many people. Over paying and no service. Not worth it.

Overall, the check-in experience was smooth and pleasant. We arrived around 11:00 AM and asked whether the room was ready. The front desk informed us it was not yet available and that they would text me when it was ready. As promised, I received a text at 3:30 PM and was able to check in immediately. The front desk staff were friendly, patient, and professional. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we entered the suite. The floor was clearly not cleaned. My dog kept finding items on the floor, including food crumbs, gummy candy, and even small objects like clips. This raised both cleanliness and safety concerns. I called the front desk and requested that someone come sweep or clean the floor. A staff member arrived quickly, but the cleaning felt rushed and superficial—he appeared to briefly vacuum for about 10 minutes and then told me that this room was “not dog friendly.” This was very confusing and frustrating. We had disclosed our dog at check-in, paid the pet fee, and the front desk was fully aware that we were traveling with a dog. We paid an additional $100 pet fee on top of a room rate of roughly $1,000 per night. If the room was not pet friendly, this should have been communicated clearly in advance, and we should not have been assigned this room—or charged the pet fee. For a property at this price point, I expect a clean room upon arrival and consistent communication about pet policies. While the front desk service was good, the room cleanliness and handling of the pet situation fell well below expectations.

I have never once felt that a hotel was a “second home.” I’ve stayed at many five-star hotels, both in-state and out-of-state, but I am personally quite particular, so I’ve never truly felt that sense of comfort during a stay. However, this resort went far beyond my expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel genuinely welcomed. The front desk team was incredibly kind and attentive, and the valet service was especially outstanding. There was heavy snowfall during our stay, yet every time we left the hotel, they thoughtfully cleared the snow off our car windows so driving would not be an issue. On top of that, we never had to wait long for our car—it was always brought out promptly and efficiently. One thing that stood out to me was the scent of the hotel. Most hotels have a very distinct, sometimes overwhelming smell, but surprisingly, this place did not. Instead, it felt clean, subtle, and comfortable in a way that added to the overall experience. This was my first time visiting Lake Tahoe, and I know many people prefer staying near the villages on the south side. However, choosing this location was an excellent decision. Being slightly away from the village made it much quieter and more relaxing. It’s also close to Kings Beach, and the area feels more tucked into the mountains—cozier and more serene. Overall, it has been a long time since I’ve experienced a hotel or resort with such a warm and inviting atmosphere. If I ever return to Lake Tahoe, I will absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

I had an absolutely phenomenal stay, and I would definitely come back and recommend the resort to others. I’ve stayed in a couple of different Hyatt Resorts, and while they have all been impressive experiences, my stay in Incline Village has been the best. The front desk staff was not just accommodating—they went above and beyond. At check in staff made sure that we had everything we needed, including every member and travel reward included in our benefits. The welcome package just kept coming and included champagne, free, breakfast, and casino vouchers. At checkout, I mentioned to the front desk that my son lost a trinket behind a piece of furniture, and she insisted on immediately contacting facilities to help move furniture to retrieve it. We got a private hike guided by Justin who was so informative and personable, and he took lovely photos of our family of the sunset over Lake Tahoe. I also enjoyed the yoga class. While everything from the rooms to the pool to the food were top notch, your staff and their authentic kindness and customer service made this an unforgettable stay.
