Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

Starting with valet, who took care of business and loaded our luggage up to our room super quick and all smiles. While checking in at registration, she had local knowledge and recommendations, which we took and had a great time. The Provisions staff was always above par and the custodial staff crushed it. Never felt like an inconvenience but a priority. Though they only had one working elevator, it gave me an opportunity to meet more people and make some vacation friends.

I don't have the right words to fully encapsule the beauty and experience found at Lake Tahoe. This resort was fundamental in my experience and made for one of the best business trips I've ever had!!

If you need some solitude with beautiful surroundings and great ammenities, this is your place. Upon my stay, it was important for me to go somewhere where I didn't have to drive and have servcies, facilities and accesibility to the surrounding area. The Hyatt staff were very helpful in making your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Was forced to sign a waiver for service dog and then got billed. The room and service was not great. I liked the pool though.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe was very disappointing, especially considering the price and the expectations created by the photos online. The resort feels very dated overall, particularly the guest rooms, which are clearly in need of renovation. The pool was also a major disappointment. The photos make it appear much larger and more impressive than it actually is. In reality, the pool is quite small, and the water was not nearly as warm as we expected from a heated pool. The beach situation was probably the most frustrating part of our stay. The resort’s main beach was under renovation, and the alternative beach provided was extremely inconvenient. There was no parking available at the beach, and once there, essentially no resort amenities were provided—no chairs, umbrellas, towels, or beach service. For a resort that heavily promotes its Lake Tahoe location and beach experience, this was very disappointing. Another major issue was the elevators. Only one elevator appeared to be working for the entire resort, which resulted in constant lines and long waits. Traveling with babies and a stroller meant that taking the stairs was not an option for us, so we had no choice but to wait every time we needed to go up or down. Overall, the property did not live up to what we expected from a Hyatt Regency resort, especially at this price point. Between the dated rooms, underwhelming pool, lack of proper beach amenities, and elevator situation, the experience felt far below the standard we expected.
