Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

The Hyatt Regency was lovely. We enjoyed dinner at the Osteria and appreciated the attentiveness of the service received by Billy who explained all the dishes since it was our first time there. They didn’t rush us even though we can 30 minutes to closing. The room had an amazing view and surprisingly one of the windows opened a little bit so we could enjoy the fresh air. I loved the complementary water bottles in the room. They also had a hairdryer, outlets on both sides of the sink, and two robes for use in the room. While it was just my husband and I, we opted for two double beds. It works out great since we love lots of pillows and used the other bed to lay out our things, take naps, or sit with our outdoor clothes. They also had outlets on both sides of the bed: plug ins and usb-c. Nice touch! I liked that the bottoms of the beds were enclosed so I didn’t have to worry about losing anything under the bed. Plenty of counter space under the TV. A nice sized mini fridge and safe. The dressers were nice and wide so it fit all our clothes and the hanging closet was plentiful. I enjoyed our stay.

I went on a business trip and brought my two sisters with me. We enjoyed Afternoon Tea at the resort on Friday and again on Sunday. It was such a beautiful experience and the service was excellent! We also attended a yoga sound bath with Ashley and Jessica and Trumpet meditation on a different day. The three of us also got a facial at the Still Water Spa. I can’t say enough about how much fun we had in one weekend. I highly recommend this place.

I booked my stay through AMEX Platinum, which came with a $100 on-site hotel credit. I used it at the Italian restaurant, and the experience was wonderful. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious, though a bit on the salty side. Several other Asian guests mentioned the same, so maybe just a flavor difference. Breakfast was included with my stay, and I liked having the option to choose between the buffet or à la carte. Both were great, with the same high level of service. The resort has plenty of amenities: a heated pool, Jacuzzi/hot tub, and a fire pit where they even give you a s’mores kit. There was also live music (not at the restaurant we dined in, but around the resort). The beach is just a short walk away, and there’s a scenic route about six minutes from the property that’s perfect for biking or walking with stunning views. I also received a voucher for a free gift at the shop, where you can pick from snacks, drinks, or even light meals. I really appreciated the environmentally friendly touches. They provide a reusable water bottle and have refill stations in the lobby. The room was clean and modern, with slippers provided, a large smart TV (Netflix and YouTube Premium ready), fast Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and plenty of outlets for charging. The bathroom was spotless, too. Overall, a fantastic and relaxing stay. Everything felt well-maintained, the staff were genuinely friendly, and all the small details added up to a perfect getaway. Highly recommend this resort, especially if you’re booking through AMEX Platinum.

Its in a beautiful breathtaking area, beds are so comfy, gym is spectacular and pool and jacuzzi are gorgeous. Things are changing though Lone Eagle Grill across the street and beach are no longer there :( and seems like things have gone down somewhat.
