Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

Great hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Our favorite place to stay when visiting Lake Tahoe and the Reno area.

I have never experienced such an awesome stay as this one at the Hyatt Regency, North Lake Tahoe. The staff is above and beyond the best I have encountered. The food was absolutely delicious! The rooms were super clean; the maid staff cleans daily without being asked. You will not be disappointed.

Lake Tahoe is stunning and it's a must-see on any bucket list. I would say the Hyatt Regency is in a transitional stage. With the construction along the beach through August 2027, I would wait to stay here until it is completed. The food is OK here, I found better options for food outside of the resort. Staff was nice. Pool and hot tub area are fabulous!

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe for a family vacation. After checking out around 11:30 AM, we remained on the property for several hours and spent the afternoon at the pool before leaving for the Bay Area around 6 PM. Later, while driving home after left the hotel at around 6PM, I realized I had left my purse and wallet in the in-room safe. The wallet contained my driver’s license, IDs, credit cards, and other sensitive items. I called the hotel that was at 7:14PM, and they confirmed that Safety and Security had recovered the purse and wallet. When I returned to pick it up, I was told the team had already had the bag for a few hours but had been too busy to contact me. This was very frustrating because we were still on the property for hours after checkout. A simple privacy-safe message such as “Please contact the hotel regarding an item from your room” could have allowed me to retrieve it before leaving. Instead, we had to turn around after already driving toward home, and we did not arrive back in the Bay Area until around 12:30 AM with tired children and a tired driver. I understand I was responsible for leaving the purse behind, and I appreciate that all items were recovered. But for a Hyatt Regency resort, I expected better communication and service recovery when a purse and wallet were found in a room safe. This was a very disappointing end to our family vacation. I also raised this with resort management afterward, but I did not feel the response acknowledged the avoidable impact this had on our family.

We recently stayed for Father's Day 2026. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and they have access to a private beach and we enjoyed all the amenities, guided tours, onsite restaurants. Friendly staff. We also did a guided trumpet meditation with Dennis with friends and it was amazing! The view from our balcony room was amazing and I enjoyed listening to the sounds of a nearby brook during our stay.
