Valet was the highlight, and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations. The pool area was dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly understaffed. Walkways were extremely slippery, and garbage and runoff made the entire area feel unclean. That lack of oversight was most obvious with the daybeds. There was little to no organization or enforcement. When we arrived at our reserved daybed, it had already been used and not cleaned—ketchup, mustard, and food remnants were smeared across it, with red, blue, and green runoff into the planter beds. A staff member mentioned comping a couple of drinks and walked away—we never saw her again. We ended up cleaning what we could and covering the rest with towels just to make the daybed usable. The same issues extended to other amenities. Complimentary bike rentals were chaotic and understaffed, creating unnecessary tension between guests. Food and beverage service was slow, and daybed orders were wrong every time. Breakfast was worse—the lines were absurd. I’d strongly recommend finding local options on Yelp, as eating on property isn’t worth the time or hassle. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We won’t be returning—Omni is a far better option.

Great experience. Why is everyone at the front desk so young, beautiful and charming? Loved them! Tristan was so nice during check in. Lexy is a gorgeous soul, was SO lovely to my daughter. Roberto is probably the coolest valet guy we ever met, look for him! We’ll probably be back just to laugh with him again. Pools and slides were great fun! Thanks for our mini vacation :)

I am a frequent Marriott and Hilton traveler. This experience has made me rethink all other hotel chains. The woman who checked us in was very polite, professional, and overall exceptional. Valet was attentive, friendly, and FAST.

My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells for Spring Break and to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, and the experience was truly exceptional! Having stayed at many premier luxury properties—from The Ritz-Carlton to The Waldorf—we can honestly say we have never felt more appreciated or valued as guests. This stay didn't just meet our expectations; it exceeded them in every category. The Grounds & Accommodations: The resort grounds are absolutely gorgeous and impeccably groomed. Every path we walked was spotless, reflecting the high standards of the property. We had a room facing the golf course, and waking up to those stunning, tranquil views every morning was a highlight of our stay. As a family of three (with our 8-year-old), the King room with a sofa bed was perfect—spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Crucially, the rooms were incredibly quiet; we didn’t hear any outside noise or hallway traffic, which made for a perfectly peaceful and restful stay. World-Class Service: What sets this Hyatt apart is the genuine, world-class hospitality. At the onsite dining, we received exemplary service from Alejandra and Monty at Tía Carmen, who both made us feel like family every single day. They went far and beyond to ensure our meals were pleasant and entirely care-free. A special, heartfelt thank you goes to Diana Cleveland. Her customer service is the gold standard; she truly knows how to value a guest. When Diana learned it was my wife’s 50th birthday, she went above and beyond to ensure the stay was memorable. It is because of Diana and the incredible staff that we have been "converted" into Hyatt fans. The HyTides Water Park & Pools: The pool situation is incredible—there are something like nine pools! The HyTides Water Park features two large waterslides, a kiddie slide for toddlers, and a lazy river that our whole family enjoyed. Whether you have kids or not, you will love the atmosphere here. Our 8-year-old was in heaven, and it made the trip easy and fun for the adults, too. The Verdict: Between the beautiful facility and the amazing staff, this experience has made us loyal Hyatt fans. Both my wife and son are already asking when we can go back, which says it all. Thank you to the Hyatt team for making this milestone birthday so special.

I simply can't say enough about this property and the people who work there. We had a business meeting for 50 plus people, and every meal was as if they had cooked it for each of us individually. The dinner buffet and bar service was simply the best we've ever had anywhere, from Hawaii to South Carolina and all points in between. We've paid far more for far less, and the price point here is very attractive. The property and amenities are beautiful and amazing, and the staff here from bellmen to bartenders and beyond seem clearly to enjoy working here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the meeting spaces with technology are state of the art. I can't recommend the Grand Hyatt in higher terms for your next business meeting or conference.
