Reviews for Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa

Nice property ...but watch out for all the extra charges.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

The property was nice. Only at location for 2 days. The pool and outside actives are nice and abundant (lots of activities for kids or adults). A very nice and relaxing resort. The negative things, that need to be worked on or addressed: There was a $35 self parking or $37 valet parking fee (not pointed out during reservation) Parking is not covered in the $45 per day (per person) cost for resort fee, that gets expensive if staying for multiple days. The sheets on the bed were not soft and stiff and uncomfortable. The A/C in the room could not be turned lower than 69, and it did not feel 69 (more like in 74). The restaurant on the property (Tia Carmen) was very nice and is worth visiting for a dinner out.

Top hotel in Palm Springs!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

From valet parking attendants, globalist check in process, restaurant servers, all services at this hotel are top notch! I got upgraded automatically to a suite with a living room and a massive bathroom. I only stayed one night and didn’t really use the facilities and onsite spa services but I can only imagine how great it would be.

Relaxing at a beautiful resort!

Beautiful resort. Beautiful rooms. Food and customer service were top notch. Love the fire pit at night! Coffee shop did not disappoint. Pool area is gorgeous and there are lots of fun activities for everyone. We will be back!

Highly recommended for families

Overall excellent place. We loved the hand wrist keys which are waterproof and lightweight and ensure that you don't off. Forget your key anywhere. Tia, Carmen restaurant was way overpriced and not worth it. Customer service in the restaurant was wonderful but again we paid way too much. The water slides wear enjoyed by the child and they have lifeguards to ensure safety everywhere. They have many many pools and a small kids jacuzzi that was rather crowded and another pool and jacuzzi for 18 plus only. The entry driveway is rather weird in that it is directed completely backwards compared to other hotels around the world. The entry point is on the wrong side

Wonderful Stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I wanted to share how wonderful our stay was at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells. We visited with our kids, along with a few other families, to celebrate the recovery of my brother-in-law who had been hospitalized in ICU for nearly a month following a stroke. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the pool staff, as well as the ladies in charge of the daytime activities was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. We were especially grateful to the two ladies overseeing the daytime activities on Wednesday 1/7, who waited for us to finish painting our pots even though the activity time had already passed. We wanted my brother-in-law to participate in this activity as part of his occupational therapy, and their patience and understanding meant so much to our family even when they didn’t know the reason behind it. Another highlights of our trip was breakfast at Tia Carmen. About 12 of us dined together, including our children and my aging mom. Monty was exceptionally kind and patient, answering all of our questions with warmth and genuine hospitality. We appreciated him so much that we returned the next day and specifically asked to be seated in his section again so we could say goodbye before heading home. I truly wish I could remember everyone’s names, as each person we interacted with made our experience so special. Thank you to all of your staff for making our stay so special. Your hospitality truly made a difference and made our family trip even more memorable
