Great property for relaxation and will return !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We spent 3 days here in late October and enjoyed it immensely. From check-in to checkout, the staff made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and modern. We had a golf course view, which we'd recommend because it's quieter than the pool views if the pools are busy. We only ate in an off-property restaurant once because the food at both of the full-service restaurants on property was excellent. Expensive, but the service was great and the food was as well. We toured the spa but didn't use those services, but the spa facility looked really nice and we will use it when we return in the future. We did use the adults-only pool, which was quiet and clean. We also used the lazy river - went in the late afternoon when it was a little cooler and not very crowded. The main reason for our visit was to have a few relaxing days to ourselves. It checked off all the boxes for that. We will definitely return!

Great experience

Wonderful hotel. We stayed in a villa and it was worth the extra money. The resort is very kid friendly. The bar has amazing drinks too. We were here for our annual conference so we come every year and we are never disappointed.

Great fun had by all - highly recommend!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had a fantastic time and I highly recommend this hotel / amenities. I went with family to meet up with friends celebrating one of their birthdays (our coming was a surprise!). The weather was PERFECT and the room, service Breakfast & a metal airstream restaurant/taco truck were so good, but the ! restaurant near one of the pools is only mediocre food - in my opinion - and isn't worth the $$. The room was quiet (!) - we didn't hear any hallway noise or the automatic hard door slams that are so typical at hotels. Although it is pricey, I really can't say anything negative about our stay other than: be aware that they charge for parking (our fee was auto-waived, so yay for that) and that the restaurant that serves the breakfast (only place to get it) charges a 4% (?) surcharge which I think is crazy and unacceptable.

AMAZING getaway close to home - feels like Hawaii

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Excellent space and felt like "hawaii" minus the beach. Great for kids and they offer bunk bed rooms and double queen beds. They have heated pools and two water slides. Its kept VERY clean - there is a lazy river that we spent hours at floating around - there are daily activities like a watermelon eating contest, duck swimming, etc. There is also a mini water slide and splash pad area for the younger ones! A nice plus was that they offer one hour complimentary bike rentals which you can use to ride around and see the beautiful property! There is even a fire pit which we used to make s'mores at night (they sell kits!) We went for my son's 5th birthday weekend and staff was excellent. It felt like Hawaii but was only an hour and half from home which was so perfect for a weekend getaway - we will be back!!

Fantastic

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This hotel earns its 5 star rating. The facilities are gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The pools are a perfect temperature and the water slides and lazy river are much fun. We were worried with it being crowded based on earlier reviews but it was fine. Chairs by adult pool were still available late morning and the vibe was pleasant - it did not feel too busy (even with a wedding party around). The room was like a honeymoon suite - bedroom area and then sunken living room with a beautiful view of the golf course. It was one of the nicest stays we have had. Last but not least the staff is exemplary. They are attentive but not intrusive and very welcoming. Special thanks to Jocelyn at check in and Diana C. For helping us at both ends of our stay to make us feel extra special. We highly recommend this resort for both fun and relaxation. Cannot wait to return.
