Reviews for Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa

Best family hotel in the greater Palm Springs area

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This Hyatt property has become one of our families favorite spots. As well as others this weekend, the property was sold out but didn’t feel overly crowded. The service all around was always top notch. Our kids absolutely love to race each other on the 2 high powered slides. My youngest who is 4 can stay all day on the little kids slide. We always enjoy Tia Carmen’s for breakfast and dinner. The biriria tostadas are absolutely delicious. My kids loved the fresh fruit & the cinnamon waffles. Overall, this is the best family hotel in my opinion to visit in the Palm Springs area, hands down.

Family fun

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

This was our first visit to the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells. We typically visit the Omni when we are vacationing in the desert, but we wanted to try out the bigger water slides and vibe here. Our room was nice and the bathroom was huge, with both a full bathtub and a walk in shower. The water slides were definitely a highlight. Super fun! The lazy river was ok - it was extremely cloudy both days we were there. The other pools (there are several) had much better water quality. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall cleanliness of the property was good. For me, compared with the Omni, the Omni feels more resort-y and spread out, while the Hyatt feels more Vegas - taller buildings, enter rooms from a hallway/hotel vibe. Our kiddo loved it and we enjoyed it- we would definitely visit again!

Excellent service and stay, but hopes for a better spa payment system!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The hospitality here is top-notch. I was especially impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the Front Desk team, which made check-in seamless, and the exceptional food quality and service at the restaurant. During my stay, I spent a lot of time in my room preparing for a Saturday seminar. I was really looking forward to recharging at the Agua Serena Spa and sauna, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to use the facility because my American Express Platinum card didn't go through, and I didn't have any alternative payment with me. For a luxury resort of this caliber, I sincerely hope they upgrade their system to accept Amex Platinum cards seamlessly in the future. Despite this small disappointment, the rest of my stay was perfect. I highly recommend this resort for both business and leisure, and I look forward to returning!

Great Property

I usually stay at Marriott Hotels but have been wanting to give Grand Hyatt Indian Wells a visit. The property did not disappoint. The rooms are really nice and modern. I had a pleasant check in experience with Lexi. I was able to check in a little early and Lexi upon finding out it was my first time at the property gave me a detailed explanation on the property and its amenities, she’s really nice. The pools and lazy river were perfect for a family trip and it was open until 8pm when I went. The only thing that would have made my trip a 10/10 was if I can get my room colder than 68 degrees which that’s where it’s capped. I need my room cold especially when it’s 110 outside.
