This was a one night get away for the 4th of July. We have stayed here before it was a Tommy Bahama resort, and this time we were very disappointed and wont return. Our check in went fine, our room was ready and in the location we requested. But then we were told that happy hour was not honored at the pool bar. We would need to leave the pool area and order happy hour drinks at the lobby bar in a to-go cup. Why? This is very odd and inconvenient. Why would this hotel encourage wet dripping guests to enter the lobby to order to-go happy hour drinks? Very weird. We have fond memories of using the large cabana beds at the main pool, however, we ended up at the hideaway pool because the music was too loud at the main pool. But then the hideaway pool did not have any pool towels. We reported this to the front desk on the first day, and someone eventually brought more pool towels. but then on the second day the pool towels were gone again. This time the front desk said they were all being washed and to go to the main pool to get towels. When one of us went to the main pool to get a towel for each of us, we were scolded and told only one towel per person (the request was for a party of two!). The hotel needs to invest in more towels! They clearly do not have enough towels for their guests or to keep the pool areas stocked with towels. During the two hours we spent at the hideaway pool on the second day, no towels were ever brought to the pool. And during happy hour, we did go to the lobby, intending to order a pina colada. However, oddly, the bars at this hotel do not offer frozen drinks! Except one, a frozen mai tai (which is also very odd). Why wouldn't a hotel bar offer common frozen drinks like a Pina coloda, especially in the summer when guests are on vacation? Enjoying a Pina colada poolside seems like a normal expectation! And, who designed this terrible non-functional bathroom? There is only ONE door hook and ZERO towel bars in the hotel room bathroom and vanity area. Where are you supposed to hang wet bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, or wet swimwear? Oh I forgot. They did not provide hand towels. Only two bath towels, two washcloths, and one door hook. If two people are in the room, where is the second guest supposed to hang their towel or wet swimwear if the first person uses the door hook? This is unacceptable! Guests need to have a place to hang bath towels, wet swimwear, and face washcloths. Who wants to use a washcloth again after it has been left on a countertop? I have been to this resort several times before it became part of Tommy Bahamas. It used to have beautifully manicured walkways full of tiled fountains, an abundance of flowers, inviting hammocks, peaceful nooks to sit and relax and enjoy the gardens. But the gorgeous hotel grounds have been gutted. The blue tiled fountains, beautiful tiled walkways, relaxing garden hammocks, and meticulously manicured gardens are all gone. What a shame. We wont be back.

I had an amazing experience! I loved my room — it had a comfortable king-size bed and was located in Building 8. The view was beautiful, with citrus trees right outside. The food was fantastic as well. We had lunch by the pool, and everything was delicious. The spa was another highlight. I got a massage, and Juan was absolutely great — professional, respectful, and made the experience truly relaxing. Highly recommended!

We love it here. Great location - plus kid and pet friendly! It’s a win win. We love Grapefruit Basil for breakfast, the chicken sausage is so yummy.

Maybe the best spa resort in the Palm Springs area if not in the U.S. Beautiful rooms and excellent food all in a very intimate setting.
